I bought these because they appeared to be high quality, the ear buds fit perfectly, they were truly wireless and it came with a charging case. The challenge is that every time I use them, I have to reset the Bluetooth connection. I have an iPhone 7 plus, my other wireless earbuds once connected--it always recognized them. Not the case with these. In addition one bud will not stay connected. At times it feels as if I'm wearing old school wired buds where the cord to one of the buds gets static--very frustrating. Great design lousy execution.

I loved the thought of being able to secure the ear buds while working out, but putting them in or taking them out is troublesome because the touch feature will either stop, skip or turn Siri on. The biggest issue is that one ear bud will ALWAYS disconnect from the other all the time.

These headphones are pretty great. Controls on the sides are handy. But I’ve had issues with them cutting out after about an hour of continuous use. Kills the energy in your run when near the end your music keeps cutting in and out. There’s also a really annoying delay. I expected a lot better for such expensive headphones.

Could have bought Bose for a few dollars more but decided to try these as they were on offer. Big mistake, could barely hear despite sound turned up full volume. Returned them same day. Maybe these were a defective pair. Bought Bose instead and truly no comparison between these products, the Bose were exceptional and worth the extra $$

The Best Sounding True Wireless Headphones

As always with J-Lab, the Epic Air sound amazing and the Blue Tooth connection is rock solid -- eventually. It's initially disappointing, but these actually learn over time and after a few sessions they really lock in. These earbuds come with a bunch of different tips, so finding a good fit is no problem. The earbuds stay put even during vigorous exercise. Battery life is fantastic and the charging case is cleverly designed. I usually put my earbuds back in the case to top of their charge after use, and only have to plug the case in to charge it once every week or two. To cut to the chase, I’d absolutely recommend these if you’re in the market for true wireless. You won’t find better sound+wireless anywhere and they’re backed by a solid company with great customer service. These earbuds aren't perfect, however. If you’ve never owned BlueTooth headphones before, understand this: Their connection is not as solid as wired headphones. That’s true of all BT headphones. Now, the Epic Air are REALLY good — but you have to give them time to "learn". First time I took them out I almost returned them. But it gets better. A lot better. And while pairing is pretty intuitive, you only pair one of them to your phone and that's your primary earbud. You can use the primary independently, but the secondary one only works with the primary. You'll have to plan to always use your phone on that side of your body for the best signal and that's the one you'll use if you use it to talk on the phone. While these work well for hands free conversation at home or office, don't expect to use them on the interstate, bike or in wind. They pick up too much background noise. And while I liked the idea of the touch controls, in reality I don’t like them. I’d rather have a button to press. They're very touchy. Often, when adjusting them in my ears, I'll bump the touch area and skip a track. What’s worse, once the touch sensors get wet, they start randomly sending inputs to the phone. Usually this results in my volume being blasted to max and I have to turn them off to regain control. This is a tough pill for me to swallow, since I love to run in the rain and J-Lab marketing says that it’s OKAY if you get caught in the rain with these. Yeah, they’ll survive… but your music won’t. Sometimes excess sweat can also trigger the touch sensors. Unfortunately, there's no way to disable or customize the controls. Despite my criticism, these really are great earbuds well worth the money. They’re my first pick for true wireless. If, like me, you enjoy running in the rain do yourself a favor and pick up a pair of wired headphones for backup. You can find Epic Premium cheap, they sound great, and water doesn’t confuse them.

Will cut off without notice while training. Have to mess with phone in order for it to come back on. when adjusting the earphone in the ear, it will skip to the next song when all I was doing was trying to adjust the fit. Not as happy with purchase as I had hoped.
