These headphones stopped working after about 10 runs with them. Luckily I purchased the protection plan for them.

Bad sound quality. Weak signal. I was willing to overlook that until it started buzzing in one ear. Returned.

The EPIC2 earphones have finally opened my eyes into how useful wireless earphones can be. Yes, I am a child of the 80's that was all too content using wired headsets (as they were called at the time). I didn't think that I would see such benefit from a wireless pair. I was wrong! From the ability to do my morning jog without a wire slapping me - to the ability to wipe them off afterwards (The are sweat proof and washable even!). In fact they are IPX5 rated, to ensure no moisture mishaps. What is even more impressive is the 12 hour battery life (which I was able to verify). I have had no problem pairing these 'phones to my android phone (G5) or my wife's new android tablet. So perhaps you are thinking that JLAB skipped out on audio quality to provide the above features. You would be wrong! I have to say that the sound quality is crystal clean and highly immersive! I am VERY impressed from this angle.
And BTW, you can also use this to make calls (has an embedded mic) and control volume via the intuitive controls.
If you are in the market for a pair of quality "sport" earbuds that also deliver high quality sound - you can't go wrong with these! Get them!

Sport wireless earbuds... Why do we buy them? Well, primarily to listen to our music while performing any type of physical activity, whether that be exercise or just working in the yard. The caveat: people who love music expect great sound as well.
The JLab Audio Epic 2 Sport Wireless Earbuds are designed for the active wearer. Upon opening the package, the first thing I noticed was there were no buttons on the actual earbud (what goes in ear). All controls are on the wired control switch. This was one of the few recent sets of headphones that I had to pick up the manual to learn how to pair. Pairing was pretty seamless, though, with audio confirmation via a voice assistant. Included in the package was a case, additional ear gels, and a charging cable. The case seemed small, and made me feel as if I was putting undue pressure on the buds when zipping. I felt it needs to be a bit bigger, or at least a tad deeper. As for the build quality, the Epic 2s are decent when compared to other $100 buds. I would say they are a tad below a few other options.
Once paired, I fired up some music. I was a bit disappointed because my initial song sounded a bit muddy. I changed to another artist and genre for clarity... A little better sound. I feel the Epic 2 is geared toward an audiophile approach, but has a little more bass than the standard audiophile set. The sad thing about this is the clarity just doesn't stand up to other earbud sets I have used, and sport buds at that. The sound isn't bad, but it's not as good as I would expect either. The biggest issue seemed to be clarity. There seemed to be a tad of muddy sound in most things I listened to.
Wearing the Epic 2s for activity was an okay experience for the most part. Putting them on, I noticed that you can achieve a snug fit - an important aspect of sport earbuds. Because of the over the ear loops, I had a few problems when wearing glasses. For example, when wearing these washing my car, I had the left earbud fall out at least 3 times. My glasses got behind it, add a little sweat, and the right movement... Also, unless I missed it in the package, I didn't see a clip to attach the line to your shirt. I guess they felt this wasn't needed due to the over the ear loops, but it may be needed. This makes me wonder can these buds be practical for an aerobic workout, where there is more than straight, upright movement. I have worn other buds during a circuit-like workout - without issue.
Overall, I think the Epic 2s are just average, and for the price, you can get average for less.

My first wireless earbuds, very nice

This is the first pair of wireless earbuds I have owned. What gives them five stars for me is they were very straight forward to use and the sound is quite good. I simply plugged the usb cable into the earbuds and then into my computer to charge them. I've never seen such a variety of rubber tips to choose from, for what must be every ear size out there. I appreciate the flexibility Jlab is providing for their customers. Connecting to Bluetooth on my iPhone was simple and then I was all set to check out the sound quality. I listen to a variety of music and it all sounded great. I set my phone on the counter at one point when I was doing something and I did get out of range when I went outside one time and a voice comes on that tells you that you are out of range. Once back inside, the voice then tells you that you are connected again. The wireless option is just really nice for doing anything active. Earbuds also come with a very nice, lightweight case that has an area to hold extra rubber tips.

Good Design, Average Sound

JLab got a lot of things right with these headphones. Unfortunately, the primary factor in headphones is the sound and I found that to be a big miss.
First, I found the design of these headphones to be comfortable and very good for activities like running, biking, or at the gym. The over the ear wires just need to be bent into shape so that they fit snugly behind the ears. I will say I felt the earbud piece was a little bulky. I hoped this meant there would be incredible sound...but it didn't. More on that in a minute. The controls were simple and easy to use although it did feel a little awkward reaching so far up on my neck to adjust the volume. Still, I have another set of wireless earbuds and the wire is way too long so it is even more awkward. I found that the short wire and the way they wrap over your ear to stay in place to be quite useful.
Second, the sound quality. I was very disappointed in this category. Bass was lacking which was surprising considering the larger than usual earbud piece. High and mid-range quality was average. Not much more that I can say other than it was very lackluster and I would've expected more from $99 headphones.
Third, connectivity was very easy and worked as expected. Range was a little less than other earbuds I have, but still adequate for most uses.
Finally, JLab included a really nice carrying case that goes along with these earbuds. Additionally, they included six pairs of gel earbud tips which should be able to fit most needs. I found this to be a nice surprise since this can be a major issue with many people. The carrying case is very handy and I think I'll use it for some of my other headphones too.
In conclusion, I think these headphones are just average. I really knocked off two whole stars simply because of the audio quality. It's not bad, but it's certainly not good or great. The design, features, and included accessories were a nice touch but they don't make up for the lack of sound quality. If you care more about the design, these might be for you. If you're looking for premium sound quality, look elsewhere. Because I put sound quality above the design, I wouldn't recommend this to a friend.
Pros:
-Design
-Ease of connection
-Included accessories (6 pairs of gel tips and a nice carrying case)
-Battery life (approx 12 hours tested and confirmed)
Cons:
-Sound quality

Great for music, not for calls

I am on my headset just about every waking hour as a network admin...I even sleep in them... I am very freaken picky about headphones... I need a 12 hr battery (realistically you get like 8-10, still fine), something that wraps my ear for long-use comfortable wearing and the ability to pop one out if needed if someone invades my office, something I can lie on a pillow on, even if I have to lay a certain way. Anyway - the music only setting is incredible... but when you are on a phone call, it sounds like a tin can. When on a call and have music on at the same time... tin can (at the gym for this weird dual usage). The mic also needs to be further down the wire around an inch so you can move the mic around to right in front of your mouth in case you are in a loud environment. I had complaints that they could not hear me as well as my LG Force HBS-S80 headphones (discontinued). Wish it could be configured for the mic to be on the left, because that is what I am used to. It took me a minute, but once I got the wires configured around my ear, it was pretty comfortable. I ended up taking them back because my PRIMARY reason for them was phone calls.... but seriously.. the music sounded amazing, they were decently comfortable and had a good battery.

I was skeptical of these at first, but as it turns out they sound pretty good. Setup is can be a little interesting for those with big fingers. Controls are straight forward. Battery life is amazing compared to some others that I have owned. The ear loop needs work, especially for those that wear glasses. Sweat proof, good sound, long charge.

Great Set of Headphones

These headphones are pretty great and even more. To start with, all the ear bud options, sizes, make it easy to find the right fit for your ear since all ears are not created the same. In this case, the instructions make it very easy on how to figure out how to pair with the Bluetooth with your type of mp3, smartphone, etc.. The Bluetooth connectivity has amazing quality I have never been dropped or disconnected; also great range of connection. I charged it initially and it still is going strong. I previously used an older version of Dr. Beats wired headphones and I have noticed that these JLab Epic's do not run the phone's battery nearly down to the same degree the Beets did. The only con I could say, if it is a con, is that the case to hold all of this is a little bigger then an iPod Nano and it would be nice if it was a little bigger to accommodate all the pieces that come with these headphones..

These headphones performed flawlessly at the gym. I sweat profusely while working out, especially when I'm doing cardio. I was surprised to find out that these headphones held up great through heavy sweat. It is clearly advertised that you must ensure the USB cover is on correctly, so remember that.
I went though two pair of QC 30 headphones because of my sweat. I was shocked to find out that an expensive pair of headphones like the QC 30's did not hold up to a workout, but these Epic2 have performed extremely well.
Not only are they holding up to my sweat, but they also sound great. The earbuds blockout most of the outside noise, so they definitely help me focus on my workout. They come with multiple pair of different sized ear buds, so you have options. They also include a really nice case for them.
I would definitely recommend these to ANYONE! I've now found my workout headphones.

We have a number of different wireless earbud headphone sets and the Epic2 headphones would be OK compared to the other ones we have. While the packaging they come in looks nice, they were kind of a pain to fully remove from the box due to the way that they were fastened to the packaging. Having the wide variety of ear tips was surprising and quite nice. We have settled on a couple of favorites and they are easy to install. Putting them on and getting them to fit snug on your ear takes some practice. They don’t seem to be as comfortable as some of our other wireless earbud headsets if you are wearing them for a long time. We seemed to have to tweak and adjust them more often than our other headphones.
Setup and pairing was pretty easy but we were not a big fan of all of the app permission requirements. Once paired though the app is easy to use and has some nice options. Battery life is pretty good and charging times are decent. One thing I noticed is the flap that covers the charging port is kind of flimsy and I am not sure how long it is going to hold up. The overall sound quality is OK. The headphones don’t have the bass response I tend to prefer based on my music and media streaming preferences. Phone call quality is OK as well. Hearing what the caller is saying is a lower sound quality versus some of our other headphones. If you are looking for a set of wireless earbud headphones to use with a variety of things then there are better options out there.

First the good news - this product is well built and packaged and comes with a variety of earbud tips in an attempt to make sure that you can get the optimal fit. The sound quality is good and the volume controls work well. The charging port is a little difficult to access due to the rubber waterproofing cover but once I got it all hooked up everything worked as advertised. Bluetooth syncing was quick and even boasts audio feedback while it completes. I was able to connect to both my wife's Samsung S4 phone and to my Samsung Tab S tablet.
Now the quibbles - we were never able to find a fit for my wife's ears that would provide both a tight fit (for external audio rejection) and that would stay seated in her ears. The included tips were either too big or would not stay in her ear canal. To be fair, she has problems with most earbuds although my Skullcandy earbuds do seem to work for both of us.
Also - we were never able to get the telephone controls to work properly to allow us to answer an incoming call. Maybe the S4 is too old? Didn't have anything else handy to try it on.
To end on a positive note - I have had a devil of a time trying to get wired earbuds that are a good match with my Tab S. I think it is an impedance mismatch but it is very frustrating. The JLab Audio being bluetooth solved my problem and so will find a place in my travel bag.

I'd been looking around for a set of bluetooth headphones that I can use while working out and these seemed to fit the bill. They are compact, lightweight and have a ton of ear gel options to hopefully help them stay in while being active. Unfortunately they just dont live up to what a set of headphones in this price range should be.
To be fair, the headphones are incredibly lightweight and seem to stay where you put them if you have an ear gel that fits you properly. That's kind of where the pros end, and I wouldn't say that if these cost maybe 1/3rd less than they do.
The audio quality is tinny and quiet, even at max volume. With a full seal on my ears with well fitting gels and the volume at max, I am still able to hear my treadmill through them. A bit of a disappointment for me on the quality and volume standpoint.
As for the fit, I'm not too thrilled with how the ear loop is handled, I guess I was expecting it to be a molded piece of plastic, instead it is a flexible part of the wire that you can mold to your ear on your own, no matter what I did it seemed a little loose. On top of that, the extra wire has clips to keep it in check. Seems to be a lot of manual intervention with the fit for something in this price range.
Overall, I'm just not too happy with them. Average fit, average sound, a bit pricey for what you're getting.

First, let me say I've owned a few bluetooth earphones from cheap ones to the expensive brands. I have to say these fall into the middle. when you first look at the earphones, they look pretty decent but flimsy this is not the case at all. When started running with them I originally thought they would fall off but they held on snugly. I was really happy with the comfort of wearing these while jogging. Sound quality is decent. If you're looking to enjoy great sound while doing sports, these are probably not the earphones for you but if you're looking for decent sound and good comfort to help mundane exercises fly by; these are a great choice.
