J-Lab Earbuds: decent battery sound no features

These earbuds were exactly what I needed for good workouts and short bursts of music on the fly. They were incredibly cheap for what they offer in terms of decent sound quality, quick connectivity, and decent fit even when doing numerous exercises. Please be aware that the case is VERY compact and super easy to lose when storing them in loose pockets. Also, the earbuds themselves are super small especially compared to my previous pair (sony wh-1000xm3). In fact, I struggle with pulling each earbud from the case. Adding small grip-like texture may have helped. Also, this may be due to me having large hands (6"3' btw) or the fact that the magnets allow the buds to sit inside the case very snug. Either way it may be a small gripe. Also, there have been times where I've lost connection to my device without the voice prompts alerting me. Each time this happened (about 5 times) I have had to remove both earbuds, place them back in the case, and toggle my bluetooth on & off to get them to reconnect. In terms of sound quality, theyre about what you'd expect for a $25+ pair. They come equipped with decent noise cancelling and bass with no options for customization. Call quality can suffer a bit too. The people on the other side of the call can pick up a lot background noise when I'm out in stores or around places where noise isn't that prominent. This can be annoying and off-putting when you need your hands free to shop or carry things. Last thing I'll say is that the battery life lasts pretty long. I've only had to charge them twice since my purchase and I use them a lot. If you're looking for a decent, relatively cheap pair of earbuds and don't care about certain features, these are for you.

In the past few years, I've been purchasing budget bluetooth earbuds in search of that perfect fit & sound quality. These Jlab Go Air Pops are it! First day, I put these on while commuting to the gym, did my workout, went grocery shopping afterwards, & finally headed home... still plenty of battery life which I got almost 8 hours of use, as advertised! The fit is snug & doesn't move once in my ear canal, although I know all ears come in different shapes & sizes so may not fit everyone; I kept the attached medium size silicone eartips on. Tested all 3 sound profiles & decided the Jlab Signature sound works best for my EDM/trance taste in music providing punchy bass. The sound itself feels slightly muffled, maybe because these are on the bass-ier side vs others I own; note that the Balanced sound profile provides a flatter (less bass) but still decent sound. Build quality feels solid, although I continue to have a difficult time removing each earbud from the magnetic case, which I think is a pretty strong magnetic pull vs other bluetooth earbud charging cases I own. Watched videos & TV, didn't notice any lag time with lip sync dialogue - big plus here! Call quality via the built-in mics is good & functional both indoors & outdoors. The slate grey color I chose looks like a matte light blue finish & I may get a black &/or red one soon. Wish these came in a solid white. Great job Jlab for reaching the budget consumers market!

One of the best wireless AirPods I've ever used! The long battery time ensures hours of listening, and the sound is smooth and clear. They're incredibly easy to use and pair with devices. Plus, they come at a cheaper price, offering great value for money. Highly recommended!

I bought these before going on vacation right after thinking I had lost my aging AirPods Pro. I found them right after buying these, but I still needed them as the battery life was getting a little iffy with the AirPods. On the “Balanced” EQ setting, the confusingly-named JLab Audio Go Air Pops compare favorably with the AirPods Pro, giving you about 90% of the clarity with a little more bass. They are not quite as hi-fi, but if you’re looking for something to listen critically, I wouldn’t be looking at in-ear headphones anyway. For just enjoying some music on vacation or watching something on my iPhone, these are more than acceptable, and the additional quality and features of the AirPods Pro are absolutely NOT worth 12x more to me. Connection quality is also very good, and the fit is actually much more comfortable than the AirPods Pro. The case feels sorta cheap, but it’s lightweight and does a really good job of holding the earbuds in magnetically (much better than the AirPods Pro, in fact). Of course, these do not have active noise cancelling, although the fit for me is quite good and passively cancels quite a bit of ambient noise. Nor does it have any sort of transparency mode (a feature I do use with the AirPods Pro). Also, these will not connect to more than a single device, and disconnecting/pairing is too cumbersome to warrant doing regularly between devices. In my case, I typically use wireless on-ears or wired headphones with my MacBook Pro, so this isn’t a big deal, but it’s worth mentioning if you want something for multiple devices. The touch controls are fairly responsive for single- and double-tap gestures, but changing EQ settings with a triple-tap can be a real test of patience. Still, it’s easy to live with as I haven’t really needed to use anything beyond the basic gestures after getting it set to “Balanced,” which is where these headphones sound best for most music (I’m a rock/metal/alternative fan, so YMMV). Overall, for the 20-25 bucks they cost, these are extremely good little headphones. Highly recommended.

Very good sound and reliably connects to tablet every single time. The buds also have voice messages such as "Bluetooth Connected" and "Battery full". The bud case has a short USB C charging cable attached which is a really clever and useful feature. With this cable you can plug the case into any tablet, phone or PC with a USB C port to charge the buds case. If you don't have a device with a USB port then you will need a USB C coupler or USB C (to some other port type) adapter to charge the buds. These buds are reasonably comfortable. The only issue I have with these buds are that they are very difficult to get out of the case. There are magnets that pull the buds into the correct charging position and the recesses at the back down the side of each bud might fit a 5 year old. It would take me 5 or 6 tries to get each bud out to use. I used super glue to attach a short piece of fabric to the back of the buds so now they are very easy to get out of the case. See the attached pic to see the tabs I blued to the buds. I don't even feel the tabs when using the buds.

Honestly, these headphones are better than my airpods. I like how these stay snug in my ear, and the sound quality is just as good if not better. I work in a loud environment that requires hearing protection. I just pop these bad boys in and it serves as hearing protection AND I can listen to my music when walking around. Its insane that I never bought these sooner. For 25 dollars it almost makes me wonder whats the catch. Theyre too good to be true. The battery life is also crazy. If youre thinking about buying them. Just do it.

"JLab Go Air Pop Lilac: The Perfect Blend of Style

I recently purchased the JLab Go Air Pop True Wireless Earbuds in lilac, and I have to say, these earbuds have exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I unboxed them, I could tell they were designed with both style and functionality in mind. The lilac color is absolutely stunning—it's vibrant yet soft, making it stand out without being too flashy. The compact charging case is another highlight. It fits perfectly in my pocket or bag, making it incredibly convenient to carry around. The matte finish gives it a premium feel, and the built-in USB charging cable is a game-changer. No more searching for a separate cable—I love how practical and user-friendly this feature is. One of the best things about these earbuds is how lightweight they are. Even after wearing them for hours, I barely feel them in my ears. The fit is secure yet comfortable, and the different ear tip sizes ensure that they stay in place no matter what I’m doing—whether I’m working out, running errands, or just relaxing at home. Sound quality is where these earbuds truly shine. I was blown away by the rich, balanced audio that they deliver. The bass is punchy without being overwhelming, the mids are clear, and the highs are crisp. Whether I’m listening to music, watching videos, or taking calls, the sound experience is consistently impressive. The EQ3 Sound Modes are a fantastic addition. I love being able to switch between JLab Signature, Balanced, and Bass Boost modes depending on what I’m listening to. The Signature mode enhances vocals and overall clarity, while the Bass Boost mode is perfect for energetic playlists. It’s amazing to have that level of customization at this price point. Another standout feature is the battery life. JLab claims 8+ hours of playtime per charge, and I’ve found that to be accurate. The charging case provides an additional 24 hours, which means I can go days without having to recharge. For someone who’s always on the go, this is a major plus. Pairing these earbuds with my devices was effortless. The Bluetooth 5.1 connection is strong and reliable, ensuring that I never experience dropouts or lag. The automatic pairing feature is a lifesaver—every time I take them out of the case, they connect instantly to my phone. Call quality is another area where these earbuds perform exceptionally well. The built-in microphones ensure that my voice comes through clearly, even in noisy environments. I’ve used them for work calls, and everyone on the other end says my voice sounds crisp and natural. The touch controls are intuitive and responsive. I can easily play/pause music, skip tracks, adjust volume, and activate my voice assistant with just a tap. It’s nice not having to pull out my phone every time I want to change something. Speaking of voice assistants, these earbuds work seamlessly with Siri and Google Assistant. I use voice commands frequently, and the microphones pick up my requests without any issues. Whether I’m setting reminders, checking the weather, or sending texts, it’s all quick and easy. Another thing I appreciate is the IPX4 water resistance rating. I don’t have to worry about sweat or light rain damaging my earbuds, which makes them perfect for workouts and outdoor activities. They’ve held up beautifully during intense gym sessions. I also love how affordable these earbuds are. Given their high-quality sound, durable build, and impressive battery life, they easily compete with more expensive brands. JLab has done an incredible job of making premium features accessible at a budget-friendly price. The design and color options add to their appeal. The lilac shade is gorgeous and unique—I get so many compliments whenever I wear them. It’s refreshing to see earbuds available in fun, stylish colors instead of just the usual black and white. Noise isolation is surprisingly good as well. While these don’t have active noise cancellation, the snug fit does a great job of blocking out background noise. I can focus on my music or podcasts without being distracted by my surroundings. Durability is another strong point. Even after months of use, they still look and perform like new. The hinge on the case is sturdy, and the earbuds themselves feel solid despite their lightweight design. They definitely don’t feel cheap. I also appreciate the environmentally friendly packaging. JLab minimizes unnecessary plastic waste, which is a small but meaningful detail for those who care about sustainability. It’s great to see companies taking steps toward more eco-conscious packaging. Customer service is another reason I’m such a fan of JLab. They offer a two-year warranty, which is rare for budget-friendly earbuds. Plus, their support team is responsive and genuinely helpful, making the overall experience even better. For those who love gaming, these earbuds work great with mobile games. The low latency connection ensures that there’s no noticeable delay between audio and visuals, making gameplay smooth and immersive. Overall, the JLab Go Air Pop True Wireless Earbuds in Lilac are an absolute steal. They deliver premium features at an unbeatable price, making them a must-have for anyone looking for reliable and stylish wireless earbuds. I wholeheartedly recommend these to anyone who wants great sound, a comfortable fit, long battery life, and a pop of color in their tech accessories. JLab has truly outdone themselves, and I couldn’t be happier to purchase

Love its color. This is the cheapest wireless earbuds I have ever had. It works seamlessly. Easy to pair up with my Samsung Note 9. Since I used it mostly for podcasts, so, no complain about sounds here, loud and clear. Sometimes, I walked away from my phone for over 30ft and it still sounds good, not distorted at all. My only gripe is the attached charging USB is very short. I have to buy an extension for it. However, for the Black Friday sales of $12.99, I'm a happy camper. Lol. Thanks Best Buy.

Okay, wow. I've used these for about 10 days now, so this is an immediate reaction, not a long-term durability. But the battery life these claim? It's REAL. I work as a stable hand and so am away from outlets for 8 hour shifts, and I listen to podcasts while I work. My previous ear buds were only lasting around 3.5 hours before I had to charge them. These? The first day I used them, I kept one ear bud in for 12 hours - 5am to 5pm - and listened to about 9 hours of podcasts. Only at 5pm did I get the 25% battery warning. The same has repeated every day since I have used these. Often, I clock out around noon to 60 to 70% battery STILL remaining. I've also not had any problems with pairing or connection so far. There's no sound cancelling/hear through settings, but honestly, with how this battery is acting, it's a fair trade. I have always loved this brand and wanted to get a spare set of ear buds, but these are now my main. Highly recommend to give these a shot, ESPECIALLY for $20!

This replaced the same brand and a slightly larger pair but it works exactly the same. The sound is great, the battery life and charging time is awesome and it is comfortable with the standard earpiece that came with it, although there are two others. It loses a star because when I'm out walking or running if I turn my head sharply or if I do an unusual arm movement it will cut out for 1 to 2 seconds and then continue again. Also, I thought it had the same functionality as its predecessor but the ability to push the button to change the song or pause and so on doesn't seem to be the same, although this is a minor point because that is a rarity anyway. For the money and the features of this you cannot go wrong. Oh, why did I paint the case as I did? So I can find it easily as something all black frequently is misplaced in other dark places so I would go with white or another color next time but overall a solid four stars.

I am absolutely in love with my JLab GO Air POP True Wireless In-Ear Headphones in light purple / lilac! As an aerialist who flips upside down at the gym frequently, I needed headphones that could withstand the sweat, speed, and drops in the air. These headphones have exceeded my expectations and have held up wonderfully over the past few months. I am thrilled that they barely fall out of my ears, solving a problem I had with other brands. Additionally, the Bluetooth connectivity is quick and hassle-free. While the audio quality isn't the best I've ever heard, I understand that you get what you pay for and I am more than willing to compromise on that front for the durability and comfort these headphones provide. Overall, I give the JLab GO Air POP True Wireless In-Ear Headphones a solid 5/5 rating and would highly recommend them to any athlete or fitness enthusiast looking for a reliable and affordable option.

There are the BEST budget true wireless earbuds you can buy!! Small fit for my ears and big enough to fit comfortably in my boyfriends ears! Great sound with multiple and easily accessible options. The range on these buds are phenomenal! The distance allotted with JLab go air pop is much wider than the more expensive earbud set I have from a different brand! I can definitely attest to the surprising durability and waterproof quality of these earbuds! I dropped one down the drain my bathroom sink! Thought it was lost for sure. A day later it connected to my phone and was playing music through the pipes! I dropped a magnet down the drain and pulled it right up. Cleaned it off and it is still working 3 months later with no issues. Still sounds great! Busy budget buy I’ve ever made!

For a pair of Apple EarPod, you can get 5 pairs of JLab Go Pod. Yes, JLab won the market. High quality of sound, well designed to fit, smart connection, eye catching color, and you don't have to freak out if your dog ate these. I bought one due to the color first in store, and came back online to buy 5 other colors. They are made in Vietnam. So you are surely know it is higher end of manufacturing. The sound is tinny, the headphones fit weird, and sometimes the contact points don't line up in the case and won't charge if you aren't careful, and the stubby charging half usb plug thing is strange and somewhat irritating to use, but overall they are long battery life, true wireless headphones for 20 dollars. Great to have as a backup pair or placeholder when something happens to your real pair before you replace them.

I've had a good experience with these earbuds so far!! The sound quality is very good for the price. I've mostly used the JLab signature EQ mode. The charge is awesome. I've only charged them 3 times since I bought them!! The range is ok. I've been able to go mostly from room to room in my house without carrying my phone and the buds stay connected. Going outside of my house they start to make that robotic nose. The fit is good as well. The tap function is so so... You have to tap with some force for that function to respond.
