Brief: Nice sound, Comfortable to wear. The band is light and flexible: Holds charge all day long (9 hours of use), and vibrates on calls. Waterproof. Bluetooth 5. There is no active noise cancelling. It does a great job at muting external sounds while wearing them. Pros: - Sound is pleasantly good. It has three EQ presets selectable by holding buttons on the band: balance, signature and more bass. The signature setting provides more 'body' to the sound without adding much bass. I personally prefer this setting, which provides clear sound and bass without being overwhelming. - Bluetooth 5.0: More battery efficiency and longer range from the phone, if the phone supports Bluetooth 5.0, otherwise won't notice the difference. - There is no app required to install, all the settings are done from the remote. - The band vibrates when receiving a call. - Waterproof. Cons: - Doesn't support AAC codec on iPhones. Also used it on Android but couldn't tell if it supports AptX - It doesn't seem to turn off on its own. I have to remember to turn them off when not using them Fitting: - The band is lightweight. It might be a bit too flexible, but works for me, and stays in place. The earbuds come with three tip sizes, and it has two settings for how far the tip goes in. Overall very comfortable. - Having a band, the earphones don't just fall off to the floor, and the battery life is better than other wireless earphones. - The earbuds have magnets so they stay together when not in use. Very practical. Charge: Through Micro-USB. A short cable is included. In all, very pleased with these, and sounds as good as higher priced ones

Pretty good deal. I’ve had to return the last two products for one reason or another but these are definitely keepers. Comfortable and long lasting battery life.

This is my second pair of Bluetooth headsets so I am comparing this with a well-known name brand for comparison reasons only. I’ve own a JLabs Crasher portable Bluetooth mini speaker which I loved and still going strong after 5 years so I decided to try this headset as I was unhappy fumbling thru the awkward controls on my lG headset. I quickly notice the controls, very basic and simple which I quickly liked. On my older headset, the controls are very small, the print is very small and hard to read. When wearing my older set its possible it backwards, thus the controls are on the other side of your face and can get confusing. This separate control clearly had my attention and was my favorite feature! So I quickly put them thru the test. While these controls seems basic, they do the same functions as my more expensive LG model with so much less confusion! Arrow up and down serve as volume up and down when pushed repeatedly. When arrow up or down is held it skips tracks. Center button hold down for pairing and power on and off. Taking a Bluetooth call is easy and comes in clear. Vibrates when a call comes in, one push answer and built in mic is pretty much standard. I was able to accomplish all this with easy and without the use of the manual! Plug in port is easy to use, a rubber weather resistant cover for the charge port. Now the important stuff, how does it sound. Well let’s start by range. Line of sight I got +70 feet compared to 40 ft with my older model. Non line of sight I got about the same, 30 ft so if you are looking to go thru multiple walls this may be an issue. It did give voice alerts saying out of range and reconnected quickly when you came back in range. Battery life is excellent. I was very impressed so far. The sound, Blue toothed same song and switching back and forth, clearly the JLabs had better Bass and clarity and slightly louder! I was shocked yet again. Now my comparison model is a great headset, it’s just that this JLabs won me over with the ease of use straightforward controls and better sound quality, not to mention it’s slightly louder. This was another plus as I like it loud, let me control how loud, period. Seems years ago you could buy headsets and turn them up till you went deaf, now with all the safety warnings, manufactures restrict this which I hate. The only drawback was the ear pieces. While they do snap together magnetically, it still hangs/pulls on the wires which I feel is a draw back. I so wished they would have had a home where they can be held in place magnetically as in my LG. This way they don’t get tossed around when not in use. In the end, JLabs Audio JBuds deliver and then some. They are a great headset at much less than others while delivering all around a better headset. Sound quality, ease of use and cost, I’d pick these over my much more expensive model.

JLab Audio is a fairly new player in the overcrowded headphone market catering to the budget crowd. The JBuds Band Wireless Neckband is one of its latest offerings to the market. I will do my honest review of this new budget headset JLab is offering. First of all the build quality, the JBuds headset sports thinner neckband compared to early neckband headsets and is made of plastic. This is a plus as it makes it lighter and less intrusive for the user. It also comes in a black and have a comfortable fit. Also the earbuds are magnetic so you don’t need a clip when you are not using the headset but still wearing it. But unlike more expensive earbuds, the JBuds do not go into sleep mode when the two earbuds are paired together. The controls of the JBuds are found on the right side of the neckband and has the usual power/pause/play button as wells as volume and forward/back buttons. Going into pairing mode is the same as other Bluetooth headsets and pairing was a breeze. One thing I like about his headset is that there is a non-annoying (IMO) voice prompt in almost every function. It even dictates the number of the other party when there is a call. And it also vibrates when there is a call which is a definite plus and a feature not commonly found in headsets from all price ranges. There is no app for this headset like those found in more expensive models but that is not a dealbreaker for me. Battery is rated at eight hours but I haven’t really tested that full at the time of this writing. I have already run it for several hours and so far so good. Only time will tell if the battery truly performs as expected. As for the sound quality, spatial sound is present and the bass thought not booming is at decent levels. The mids aare fine but the high are somewhat lacking therefore I feel that clarity is not up to my expectations. Perhaps I am expecting too much from this pair of earbuds. Nonetheless, the JBuds performs acoustically similar to other earbuds in its price range. But the features that I mentioned like build quality, voice prompt and vibration alerts put the JBuds a notch ahead compared to similar priced earbuds. As such I am recommending this earbuds for those who are in the market for inexpensive earbuds. Of course there are better earbuds out there, but then again those sell for three to four times the price of the JBuds.

    > Overview I use the JLabs JBuds Neckband Headset mostly at work, to get away from the distracting Open Space work environment, while listening to music or radio/internet shows. I keep it connected to my Surface Laptop or Phone. I’ve been using it almost daily for the past couple of weeks and interestingly, it has become my “default” wireless headset/headphone, pushing my Plantronics noise cancelling headset and Sony wireless as rarely used devices. > Connectivity Easy to connect with a very crisp signal (expected on any decent Bluetooth device). I have used my Surface Laptop, Windows Phone (yes, a Windows Phone) and Android Sony Experia XZ2 with no issues at all. Range is about 100ft at most before losing connection and getting the “Out of range” message, reconnection is also not bad, although I had closer to the source to get back the "You’re are connected". So, if I need to walk somewhere, I connect it to my phone and it works perfectly. > Neckband I was not really sure about having the device around my neck like a necklace, but I have come to appreciate the fact that it sits nicely around my neck in a symmetrical fashion leaving the ear pieces as light as possible. This is much better than other in-ear wireless headsets I own, my JBuds True wireless and Sony wireless in-ear are very bulky on the ears themselves. Also, having the ear pieces magnetized provides useful in keeping the earphones around the neck when not in use, and makes sure I don’t lose them. > Brief comparison with its half/brother the JBuds true wireless I have the other JLab Audio - JBuds Air True Wireless Earbud Headphones with no cords at all. While no cords are great, I found this to be a safer headset, I am not worried about losing any piece (it happened at least once with the True Wireless one). So, if you are the kind of distracted guy, this one would suit you better, if you are one who is always aware where your things are then the other option would feel better. In addition, as mentioned before, the pieces that go in the ears are not bulky as the ones from the True Wireless. > Phone/Chat Very handy to talk on my Windows and Android Phones or when chatting through Skype on my Windows Laptop. Vibrates when receiving phone calls which is nice. > Battery It seems to last a little more than 6 hours of continuous use, so it seems decent enough time. From "battery low" message to the headphones shutting down is about 10min. I don’t really like the fact that it doesn’t indicate when the earphone is fully charged. When it runs out of battery, and I start charging it, the red light indicator comes up; however, it stays there forever. I assume it is about 15 minutes to have it fully charged, unfortunately, in order to make sure it is “Fully charged”, I need to turn it on and hear for the “Fully charged” message. > Sound Sounds is ok, I am used to Sony or Plantronics giving deep bass feeling without introducing your earpieces deep into your ears or setting up the volume up high. It is not noise cancelling, which I thought would be inconvenient in the open space environment, but interestingly, it lets enough of the background activity to pass through without being distracting, and it has gotten me to get into some interesting conversations when I overheard a few terms. In any case, the earphones are very comfortable, and I can always insert it deeper in the ears or increase the volume if more privacy is needed. > Comfortability Comparing to other devices I own, this one is very comfortable, it can be worn for hours and hours. I can use it longer than the headsets that cover the ear or other devices such as the Sony WI-SP500 Wireless In-Ear Headphones (which I some point awarded 5-star rating, but in the end are a little uncomfortable, and cannot be worn for hours like this device).

The battery life on these is great, used for about three days under almost normal use. Best part is that it vibrates when someone calls you if you do not have it in your ears, if you're wearing them, it will announce the caller. The reason for the one missing start is due to sound interference; wind. The mic is sensitive on the set and picks up most everything, including the wind making it hard to hear. Cord length and sitting on your neck, is very comfortable and when not in your ears, it's magnetic and the earbuds connect to each other.

Overall I really like these - I use headphones a lot so my biggest worry was battery life, which is pretty good. I charge them probably every other day or so, even with heavy use. They're comfortable - when not using them I often still have them looped around my neck and I can genuinely forget they're there, and the actual earpieces are a good fit too. Sound is nothing super fancy, but still pretty good. My only issue with these is that they have a truly obnoxious low battery warning. Once they decide they're low, they WILL tell you every 10 seconds or so. Really, it's entirely unnecessary, ya'll. I heard it the first time, and saying it again won't make me able to get to the charger faster, it'll just make me angrier about it.

They are easy to set up and pair to your phone, and are very comfortable. You barely feel the part around the neck. The buds fit in the ears well and stay in through exercise. The sound quality is pretty decent for the price point, and the 3 equalizer levels are easy to switch to find what you prefer. The buttons are easy to work.

Bought these primarily for use with an iPod when I run. They charge easily when plugged in to USB. Turn them on and the voice tells you charge status, "battery full" or "battery medium". They stay in place when running, which is why I bought them. Sound quality is Excellent for a moderate priced headphones. I have recommended this item to friends. Great value and very satisfied. After a year - still works great!

So far I'm happy with these earbuds. They sound decent enough, the battery life is great, and it was an affordable alternative to many other neck bands. I mainly use it for YouTube and podcasts, so i'm not pushing the sound with music. For what I do with it, it's great. I typically use it about 1-5 hours a day and put it on the charger each day, so I haven't even gotten close to testing full run-time. My only critical point is that the wires are on the short side for me, so the ends of the band don't rest completely against my collar. But it's not so short that the earbuds get pulled from my ear, so it's not a big deal.

Had these earbuds for a while and they were pretty good, the sound quality was better than most earphones I had. Has good bass which I like but there is 3 EQ settings that you could adjust to your preference. Only thing is that I used them for running and I think one day too much sweat got into one of the pods on the neckband and they messed up but I was able to get new ones. Other than that they are pretty solid earphones.

I paid a little extra for a better battery and it seems to perform even better than expected. When turning it on and off a voice tells you how much battery you have left and it also says "hello" and goodbye respectfully so that I don't have to have something playing from my phone in order to tell. It's a bit difficult to feel correctly which button turns it on and off. Good quality audio.
