Customers have good things to say about the JBuds Frames' sound quality, comfort, price, and battery life. They appreciate that the glasses are lightweight and easy to use, and some even find them suitable for kids. However, customers have concerns about the fit of the glasses, the volume of the audio, the weight of the frames, the design, and the pairing process. Some users have found that the glasses don't fit all glasses well and can be too heavy, causing discomfort or displacement of the glasses. Additionally, some customers have experienced issues with the volume and pairing of the device.

These are ideal for having to be aware of your surroundings, yet still be able to listen to music or your favorite podcast without bothering the people around you. They sound pretty good for what they are, but I wish they had a bit more volume to them. I work in an automotive plant, and even at max volume they can be hard to hear. These would be perfect if they were a bit louder because there is a lot of background noise going on, but I understand these are meant more for personal music and to not bother others around you. These are better suited for quieter work settings or places without much background noise. One drawback to these are that they put extra weight on your glasses, and in my case, my safety glasses kept wanting to slide off my face. The included spacers or adpters for glasses do not fit all glasses that are skinny, which allows the JBud Frames to slide freely. You just have to be creative to to get them to stay, but it would have been nice to have a couple different types/sizes to accommodate for this.
Likes:
1.) Decent sound for what they are
2.) Last up to 8 hours on a single charge
3.) Can be used on just about any pair of glasses
Dislikes:
1.) Lack of volume depending on environment
2.) Lack of adapters for different widths of glasses
3.) Adds extra weight to glasses which could cause them to slide off

Great concept but even with the grips they do not stay in place well. The charger was cheap and the magnetic clasps to charge came loose quickly.

Affordable Over-Ear Listening

The sound quality isn't the best but it's an alternative for over-ear listening systems that's affordable. Two pieces are attached to either side of your glasses. Pairing requires a patience but once setup, it's easy to use. They do add a bit of weight so be mindful of tension headaches.

Even for fifty dollars its dissappointing. Max volume is when the volume becomes nice but the speakers clip and distort once u get there. I tried them on several frames that i own.. at best it looked like something off of total recall.. or similar to the device that hangs off of products like google glass. The last major flaw was that people can hear the sound once the volume starts to go more then about 30 percent. I've tried the bose and razor glasses.. both sound nice and have no sound leak.. and the reason is obvious. Bose and razor are more expensive because they use ultrasonic speakers to direct the sound and make sure that nobody else can hear it unless they are in the path of the speaker itself. Whereas this product designer wanted to take the same idea and make it cheaper and more flexible.. nice attempt , but tech just isnt gonna up to par without the more expensive components to make it discreet, and battery life suffers even at the higher costs because ultrasonic directiinal speakers are high powered and not as energy efficient.. in the end.. i suggest headphones or bone conducting products if u want good battery, sound and an open ear design.

Great for running safely with music & hear my surroundings, especially downtown! Or anywhere!
- the only downside is finding running shades with very thin, straight arms to attach the J-Labs, wish there was a “strap” or something for universal fit for all shades.

A little on the quiet side but overall works decently well and encourages me to actually wear my glasses. Had a bit of difficulty getting both sides to pair with my phone but I got it eventually.

I read some of the other reviews about poor fit or poor sound quality. If Sound quality is of utmost importance, buy something that chose in or covers your ear. If you want to hear cars coming up behind you on your bike or estimate traffic as you roll up on a city intersection with cars parked on both sides of each street, then these are perfect. I can listen to music while I ride and be safely aware of traffic.
I never wore buds, because it seems unsafe to exclude traffic noise.
Now I can listen to music while I’m riding.

I really like these earpiece headphones. To be clear the quality of sound for music leaves much to be desired but I already have good headphones for music. However these are great for audiobooks and podcasts especially when I have chores to do around the house and don’t want Bose over my ears so I can hear my wife telling me what I’ve missed or need to do better. They fit well on my glasses and their weight is barely discernible. They are well worth the money which is good because I’m probably going to have get a pair for my wife.
