This Talk Go Microphone has a lot to offer for being the entry level model in their line. It offers an affordable price for a nice, compact and aesthetically appealing microphone. It features an aluminum, folding, rotating mounting stand that utilizes a minimal amount of desk space and adjusts easily.. Set-up is plug & play with a 4 foot USB/USB-C input cable that allows one to quickly get to using the device. This Talk Go microphone offers two directional pattern modes depending on your intended use. Cardioid mode (front of the mic) is recommended for uses such as individual calls, gaming, streaming, voice over and podcasting. Omni mode (from all directions) is recommended for uses such as group streaming, group voice over, multi-person podcasting and group music recording. Control knobs are provided for volume control and a quick mute button can be quickly pressed to mute. Press and hold the same to change the pattern mode. Bottom line is the sound quality is good, the design is very functional and appealing and it's easy to set-up and use. We expect a lot of use from this JLab Talk Go microphone and would easily recommend it.

Great for podcast and conference calls. Good value

This microphone was reasonably priced so I had some concerns about the quality and usefulness. However, it turned out to be an excellent buy. True usb plug and play right out of the box. Controls were simple and very easy to use in all types of lighting. Very good value for your hard earned dollars!

Works well for our board room with a 10-foot conference table. Easy plug and play setup, but Windows reads it as a speaker as well as a microphone, so I had to switch that. A longer USB cable would have been nice since the microphone has the range to use in group settings.

So I am impressed with this little guy, I've used not great microphones for some time as in person meetings were pretty much what we did, I wanted the chance to work from home but never really did... how times have changed. Now having a good microphone is critical to my work flow. I ordered one that works and looks sweet but hasn't really worked as well as this one and the features on this one are just way better. First I'll give a quick few tips on this thing, read the direction because you can switch from omni to direction which is a really nice feature, I can get up and walk around and still talk to the other people on the conference without an issue. Also, the first thing I wanted to do was point the end at me cause that's just how it seemed you should do it, but nope, that end points up which makes sense as well, just one is a natural go to if the only mics you've used are the stand up or only have one speaker grill looking area. Now to the Review So Ease of use, this plugged in and worked, It auto switched the microphone and audio out to the mic, the audio out from the mic is really nice cause you can hear everything the mic is picking up and change the sensitivity accordingly, I also noticed (yeah I did my own conference call to check) that it isolated my voice when I was in the conference better than when it was just picking up music (I also had it in directional mode instead of omni). It was also able to cancel out using a speaker from the computer versus using the headphones which was useful if needed to get up. When you just turn on record it picks up everything, from across the room and works amazing, Then I got to thinking and plugged it into my phone that is capable of high quality audio recording and playing. Then I went across the room and talked, it picked up everything, so it says windows and Mac and I wont guarantee that it'll work on your phone (mine is an Android) but at least for me that worked great and is going to be great to bring with me and use for meetings when allthis ends because so often the audio absolutely is terrible in meeting rooms and knowing that it works with my phone in a pinch is great. I also tried it on a Widows ARM laptop and it worked just as good on that as the other devices. I love that it has the mute button right on it and volume control. The stand has a wider screw base but the microphone itself has the normal camera mount screw so you can attach it to different stands if you so desire. It receives power and data via the USB C port and that is really nice, I love USB C and the same cord that plugs this into my laptop, can charge my laptop, tablet, phone, earbuds, camera and other equipment. In fact the only thing I didn't like about this is that the cord in the box was a USB C to USB A. My work laptop and my desktop are the only two computers in our house with a USB A port so I immedately switched to a USB C to USB C cord and had zero issues with that. Overall I am very happy with this devalice and would definelty recommend this to anybody looking for a more portable high quality microphone. This mic is truly plug and play. Very easy to use. 2 sound settings. Ok sound but not great. Using it primarily for web meetings. It seems to have a slight delay when it first recognizes a speaker and then adjusts louder.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for a friend. Have not yet heard any negatives so I do believe it works fine. My intention was to purchase one for myself in the coming month. The sales person mentioned this was one of the best sold at Best Buy.

I purchased this as a gift for my son. I'm not sure if I can review it because I don't think he ever got it working. Possibly due to sound card or he needed an adapter of some sort. I'm honestly not sure so I can't speak to this particular mic.

Good as a mic. You can also use it as a speaker. Howver there is too much ambient aound let in ghat it is distracting. So, if you only want a mic, this works very well indeed.

Very useful, especially for a meeting with in-person and remote participants. The omnidirectional function enables remote attendees to hear the in-person participants from all parts of the room or all sides of a conference table.

My noise cancellation is 10/10 using this mic! During Covid having the kids home I worried on my production due to surrounding noise, having my mic helps give me control of my zoom calls for efficiency

Decent quality but i get alot more ac hum with this than i do with my blue tooth headset. I used this for recording voice
