Good tripod for small/med weight cameras. You would be hard-pressed to mount a DSLR w/lens on it and still have it be stable, however, using the ‘pod for external flash is great. We’ll see how long the leg “sections” stay tight. Recommended, esp at the Daily Deal price.

This tripod camera holder was awesome for our trip to Colorado up in the mountains to attached to trees and adjust to rocks. The leveling on this works awesome and is very useful. We got some awesome family photos using this unit and would highly recommend for hiking trips.

The JOBY - GorillaPod 3K seems well made, The legs are bendable allowing for placing the camera on uneven surfaces. The built-in level is really handy. This can be used with the JOBY Grip tight smart mount, which allows you to mount a smart phone on this tripod.

Great multi-use compact tripod. This is a great option for when you don’t want to carry a full size tripod with you. It can also be used to hold your camera while vlogging. With the moveable legs, there a tons of creative ways to use this.

Holds up my M50 very well. Light Weight, worth the price, stabilizer helps a lot to figure out if you’re leveled. Overall a great product and good grip.

JOBY makes solid tripods. My only concern is that repeated use has made the legs less solid when making adjustments, but it works great with my iphone, ZV-1, and D90!

Really excellent at holding up my DSLR. It is tall enough and strong enough to be useful in many situations. We tried a cheaper and smaller cheap version and it fell apart, so you get what you pay for.

A big step up from the cheap $10 compact tripods. Much sturdier, and a lot more range of movement in the legs to get a good grip in windy conditions or strange angles.
