The Joby Gorillapod comes in very handy if you like taking time lapse photos/video or want to capture footage from cool angles (especially low to ground). It stays stable on pretty much any surface. I took a time lapse video by the waterfront (on the rocks) and it didn't budge even when the breeze kicked up. I also wrapped it around a handrail and it stayed on solid. I highly recommend this product!

I bought this for my trip to Disney World. They have a no Selfie-Stick policy in the park. So I needed something to hold my phone so that I could Periscope/ Facebook Live from the parks. I bought this mount along with a "ReTrak - Bluetooth Selfie Stick - Black" so that I could use the Cell phone holder attachment in combination with this mount. It uses a standard Camera screw mount which the Joby product has an attachment for. The combination of the two pieces allowed me to make a mini tripod on the table or wrap it around a rail up on the train station overlooking the square. I got so many compliments and questions about the product. It doesn't extend so therefor it passes park security. Very versatile and functional. Great for small recording devices. Cell phones, Go Pro's, and small point and shoot cameras, maybe even small video cameras.

While in the store shopping for point and shoot cameras I saw this tripod and it looked sturdy enough for many cameras. It's compatible with my go pro, canon g7x Mark ii, and canon DSLR t5i as well. I wouldn't recommend using it on dslrs because they are much heavier than p&s cameras. I used it to do time lapse and self timer photos. Great quality tripod and worth every penny even though it's kinda pricey. Took it to our Mexico trip and it held up very well. The best product quality I have ever owned. I think this product quality is well worth the money, great design, fits and feels good.

Confession: I haven't really used the tripod yet but right out the box, I knew this was a wise decision. 1) You can level your camera/GoPro 2) Quick release 3) You can attach your camera to it 4) Not slip areas make it much easier to wrap the legs around weird places. This is a great tool, especially when it is on sale, whether or not you have a GoPro. It is always good to have an option.

Must have tripod used for my small point and shoots and go pro(s). Includes mount attachment for the Go pro. Very versatile as a tripod mount and to grip things like poles, bars. Has a built in level bubble, ball joint to convert to portrait and landscape mode. Lightweight and compact. Easy for travel.

I'm new to the tripod world and know I needed a flexible one for my cruise... Got this bad boy and it did the trick and more! Wraps around things so easily and I use it for my phone, go pro and my smaller camera!

Its great for a surface that is uneven but its a little anoying when under time constraints to get it all staight for a solid surface. But otherwise i have been able to hang off of stuff by wraping the arms around stuff and hold my canon rebel t6 without falling. I would recoomend this for shoots not in the normal settings and environments

I know this tripod is for GoPro but the special mount it has is perfect for the camera I use, which is a point and shoot G7xMarkii. It's not heavy at all but sturdy enough for your videos!

I got this as a random purchase for my vlogging camera. For what I need it is perfect. I can flex the legs to make it balanced at all time. Great quality product.

I haven't had a chance to use this yet but it appears to be well made. Camera attaches easily and I can see many uses. Can't wait to try it out.

I use this tripod for recording video in the gym and couldn’t be happier. It’s very sturdy and with the adapter(sold seperately) I’m able to use my GoPro or cell phone to record.

I use it with my GoPro and it's probably the most used way to mount a GoPro onto a variety of surfaces

I purchased a cheaper brand first and was not impressed. This one works great. It's tough, well made and holds the GoPro rock solid. It stays put when you wrap it around something, unlike the cheaper brand that didn't hold as tightly. The built-in level is a very nice extra touch.

A great flexible tripod that works on everything. Small enough to fit in my carry bag. Easy to use.

I've used this more than I thought I would. It is made very well and sturdy. I love the fact that it has a level and several other included attachments. Twist and hugs almost anything you put it on. If your looking for a tripod that won't disappoint than you found it here.

I used this for vlogging. Feels great in hand and the arms are very sturdy and stiff. This holds up my Sony a6300 without any issues. Hightly recommend it your plans are to be using this as a vlogging rig.

This is a great movable, lightweight tripod. We use if for the GoPro and for a small Canon camera and it provides stability and positioning that I otherwise would not have. I had a different one a few years ago but wasn't as happy with it as I am with this. This one feels much more durable in my opinion. I love the fact that it is lightweight and easy to store with other camera accessories in a camera bag or backpack. We also use it as a stabilizer and close the legs on it and attach a camera to the top and in this fashion it acts as an extender and stabilizer together. I'm very happy with my purchase of this tripod and am considering buying a 2nd one!
