I bought this with the intention of using it as a handle, for vlogging. Now that I have it I do not leave home without it. I only take if off to put the camera on the tripod for a more stable picture/video. I have used it to wrap around trees, bars, steering wheels and all kinds of objects. I know that there is an upgraded version of this but I can't see why I would need anything better than this. The upgraded version has been out of stock for a while. The only reason why I did not give it 5 stars is I do not know if it will wear out quickly. The reviews that I have seen is that it does. I have used it now for several weeks and have not seen this to be true. Time will tell, but definitely recommend this to anyone in need of a compact, multipurpose tripod. Must buy IMO

I have used this on multiple shoots since buying. It's great for situations where you can't put the camera directly on the ground but can't have a full size tripod

This is something goes very well with my Nikin D750 It is hard to carry tripoid but this can be carried any where It is bery strong yet not heavy

Small enough to stash in your vehicle, never be caught with out a tripod again. Unique ability to grip, and strong enough to hold a large dslr with a big lens.

This gorillapod is strong enough to hold up a canon 70-D, but also flexible enough to use as a grip, like Casey Neistat does. Easy to use, and not heavy.

Came with the package so not much choice here but it works fine

I love this tripod. It feels like great quality and does just about anything you want it to. Definitely a must have for photographer/videographers.

It's small enough to carry around comfortably and also easy to set up. The legs can bend so it's great to prop up on something and it can hold itself up.

The seems to be a very versatile tripod. It appears to be very stable. not sure it will be as stable when the extra battery pack is on the camera.

Well built and should be in everyone's camera bag. Great if you plan to do any long exposes in a city where tripods are impractical or not permitted.

Looking for a table tripod. Came across this and not only does it serve its purpose, it can also be wrapped to pretty much where it can hug itself to.

My son video blogs and loves this accessory. Very flexible and easy to manipulate for great pictures. Interesting design- conversation starter.

I think this is a must for photographers. Easy to use, and almost any configuration for you can throw at it when needing to tripod you camera.

Great for use in tight spots. Some shots that are impossible are made possible with this little tripod. Sturdy, light and easy to travel with.

It an amazing tripod. You can bend it, straighten it to fit and hold onto anywhere you like. It is quite sturdy. I use it with the Canon EOS 70D.

Used it in Iceland to photograph the Aurora Borealis... Worked well on the ground, a park bench, and even the hood of our tour guide's car!
