Best image quality hands down, new menu layout is a great step above previous Sony action cameras. Small, easy to get out of your pocket and shoot. Stabilisation is better than any other action camera by far, even better than traditional cameras. Lens distortion is finally corrected, Sony made a top notch action camera!

Got this for my Sony a5000 camera. Was given the original GorillaPod a couple of years ago and loved it. It does hold the a5000 with the standard lens, but it couldn't support it with the zoom lens. I didn't feel all that confident having the camera on it anyway. So I decided to get the SLR Zoom GorillaPod and I have no worries about it supporting the camera. Perfect. Couldn't be happier.

After a few weeks of use it seems to work just as advertised. Holds my Canon EOS Rebel with big lenses without any difficulty, including a zoom lens. Can adjust the legs virtually any way you want and seems to have good grip for wrapping around items, although I haven't tried anything too elaborate yet. Do wish I had the adjustable ball head version, but oh well.

The Gorillapod works great as a wand attachment on my GoPro and when used as a tripod it allowed me to back away and capture the sea life in its natural environment. I recommend this for any diver using a GoPro.

A great gadget to have to help get creative shots where a traditional tripod might not work. Just wished it had an adjustable ball head.

This tripod works great for any occasion. I can wrap the legs on a tree or other object. Or I can simply set it on a table. Great for on the go!

This is a very sturdy tripod that is perfect for travelling and vlogging. The legs are bendable but not too flimsy.

Our son uses this for his photography and videography. Works great - he loves it.
