Video & Stills Works Great!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, to anyone writing a review, please give details otherwise your review isn't worth the time it took you to blow off steam. My hardware, latest Android release 9 of my Galaxy S8+ and this is the highest level the S8+ can be taken to. The JOBY impulse remote worked right our of the box! Just scan in Bluetooth after making the joby light pulse (hold the button) and pair it to your phone. I set my camera on video, walked 10 feet away, clicked the joby remote button in my hand, and video started recording. I did this a dozen times, starting and stopping the video. Worked excellent. Still camera worked the same way.

Works well but don't drop it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had no problems pairing this with my Pixel 2 and it worked great (occasionally there would be a 3-5sec delay between pressing the shutter and photo capture, causing blurry or missed photos but this would quickly resolve itself)...but the first time I dropped it, it broke apart and wouldn't work after I put it back together. I got all of two weeks of use out of it.

Doesn't work right

won't stay connected
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.No matter how many times I connect successfully between my iPhone and the Impulse, with the 2 of them right next to each other, it always disconnects in about 5 seconds, too soon to take even one photo. I've not been able to take a photo using it. I see a few other similar reviews. Sounds like there are some quality issues.
