This film will go down as one of the great comic book films. Is it perfect? No. Did I really want Batman to make a cameo? 100%. Did I enjoy myself and feel uncomfortable most of the time? Yes. If you’re a DC fan and love Batman villains as much as I do, you will love this movie.

Joaquin Phoenix is cast as a sympethic down trodden out of luck guy with mental issues and escalates him into a homicidal villian who finds his way in an epic and twisted yet carefully crafted fashion into the DC film universe. Possible Best Oscar winner for this amazing actor.

Joaquin Phoenix's award winning performance is sheer brilliance. Naturally he'd be compared to Heath Ledger but this film is unlike any other Batman film you're likely to ever see. Extremely intense performance. Definitely worth your time and money.

Let me start by saying I’ve seen this film multiple times in theaters… it’s extremely well made and the acting is top notch. It’s a very dark and depressing story, it’ll make you sympathize with Arthur but at no point does it make you side with him or his actions. The 4K transfer is great and so is the sound quality. I hope to see more experimental films like this from bigger studios.

This is one of the best movies I ever see from Joaquin Phoenix, I can’t believe how amazing he acts on this movie. Don’t give wrong, but this one of the best jokers I ever see since Batman the Dark Night. You must have this on your collection, It’s worth it.

I doubt many come to BestBuy.com for movie reviews so I will try to stick to the product, itself. It's a beautiful looking steelbook with detachable back sheet once you open the case. Both discs work well and I'm very happy with the addition to my film and steelbook collection.

Does well at placing the viewer as an observer and participant in the action on the screen. The soundtrack is written by a cello artist and utilizes an interestingly unique electric version of the instrument-noticable in the bathroom scene with the joker.

I have been wanting this movie for a long time and best buy had a great deal during the holidays. Best buy also did great with fast shipping and item arrived without damage! I would purchase with best buy again next time Im looking for movies or games.

i love everything about this movie! I'm glad potentially risky material such as this can still receive this level of attention and finance behind it. Phoenix is truly one of the great actors of this generation and i adore the steelbox the movie came in. totally worth it...

This movie is absolutely amazing. All the good things you hear about this movie are true. My wife and I enjoyed this movie as a very good and realistic take on the joker as well as it’s portrayal of mental health and society. Amazing movie, honestly I can’t say that enough.

A masterpiece! I wish it weren't a stand-alone movie because I want to see where it goes next. Joaquin Phoenix was terrific. Even though it was a slower movie, it kept you on the edge of your seat. Some brutal scenes so not for the kiddies.

You feel some sympathy for the Joker and see how crappy the American system is. Laugh, cry, get angry. You don't support everything he does but in a way you understand how he ended up that way.

A great showcase for the actor in beautiful blu ray fashion. This movie is a mix of Taxi Driver and The King of Comedy. If you’re a fan of either of those Scorsese movies and a great script given to a great actor to portray a great character then this is the movie for you!

About time they come out with a great villain movie, you get the Joker and Robert De Niro, they should have added Scarface. The steelbook art okay but it could have been a lot better, whoever is in charge of art cover you need to get fired lol !!! Joker laughing at you !!!

This movie is amazing, easily one of the best DC character films. Even though it’s a stand alone film, it makes enough references to the Batman mythology to firmly plant it as an iconic representation of the Dark Knight’s arch nemesis. A definite must buy for any Batman fan.

I enjoyed this movie. Its not what some might expect. Its not a typical DC comics character type movie. I mean if you didn't call it Joker it could just be a movie about a guy with issues and it would still be really good. Its a serious movie. Your not gunna see one second of anything thats looks like super powers. Its about one persons mental stability and his struggles in life and how that transforms him.

I thought this was one of the best DC movies (next to Batman Begins). Purchased the 4K Ultra disc version, the picture and sound were great - the color and detail were pretty good. The story and performance were awesome. Highly recommended - A+++++

When I first saw the commercial for this movie, it was something I did want to go see. I gave in and brought the blu-ray and it was a great move. I work people dealing with bullying and mental health issues. This movie gave you a view what is really going on in the world.

I wasn't interested at all in getting this movie until a close friend of mine told me I must watch it because it is a great film. He wasn't wrong. This is a really well done film and after watching it I understand why it is getting high praise from critics and people alike
