Joker is both timely and fresh in the comic book genre. I can only hope that Todd Phillips continues to give us these stories on figures going forward like Lex Luthor, Harvey Dent, etc. Do not bring your child to this movie...it will mess them up.

Outstanding acting, good movie. To be honest, I'm completely sick of all the connected universe tie-in films from both DC and Marvel, so it was nice to get a movie outside of that. Not everything needs to be totally connected

This movie is absolutely amazing. My favorite from last year! The 4K presentation is on point and the atmos doesn’t disappoint. This a dialogue driven movie so don’t expect an action packed adventure. This is a drama and it’s a superb one!

Reviewing this movie could ruin it for those whom haven't seen it yet. It is worth a watch and you may need to watch it several times. This movie doesn't follow boring pattern where you can guess what is happening. Love it.

Reference quality 4K disc with it’s excellent image quality along with great soundtrack and the movie itself being fantastic with amazing performances all around from everyone. Phoenix kills it as his role as the Joker.

Purchased this 4K UHD because of course this is an epic movie. However, I need to exchange the DVD as it began freezing up around chapter five. It would freeze and then skip ahead. It then simply just froze up completely. No fault of Best Buy.

Great movie at a great price!!! Bought several Blu-rays on Black Friday and a have been enjoying them during this pandemic. Has been enjoying time with my wife and enjoying good movies and homemade dinners with one another.

I wasn’t thrilled with the trailers for this movie but what the trailers don’t show you are what makes the movie great. Great job by Phoenix in his portrayal of the Joker. Will never be a better Joker than The Dark Knight but still worth a watch.

Movie is only 4.5 stars for me, but 4K and in your own home and other features (Blu-ray and digital copy) are what set it apart. No frills, you either are a fan or not...... if you’re a fan, go big and get the 4K. Amazing sound and clear picture.

This movie gets 5 stars just because of Joaquin Phoenix and his acting skills. A movie very similar to Taxi Driver but its great and Best Buy had it at a must have price. The cinematography is incredible. Highly recommended!

Great movie. Saw it on theater and like it a lot, but after Re-seeing on bluray, I love it even more. Great active by Phoenix, he definitely earned that Oscar. Great movie it should have taken the Movie of The Year Oscar.

Phoenix had an out of body experience in his portrayal of "Joker". He, without a doubt deserved the Oscar for "Best Actor". 4k video and matched audio is stunning. Not recommended for a child's viewing. This movie is "INTENSE".

Every once in a while a movie comes, that truly makes an impact. Joaquin's performance and cinematography in all it's brilliance. Grotesque, haunting and cringy. Hard to watch at times,... but so mesmerizing, you won't blink an eye watching it.

Groundbreaking movie that was more timely than anyone could have imagined at the time it came out. It's a slow grind of a movie but the acting, directing, and cinematography is excellent, one of my favorite movies of 2019.

This is NOT a comic book movie. It is an analysis of one man's struggle with mental health, and the things that happen in his life that lead him to down a dark path to maniacal violance. It just happens to be in Gotham City, and the man becomes the Joker. If you take away those references the story would be just as engrossing. Joaquin Phoenix gives an Oscar worthy method acting performance.

Amazing movie. Story was great. The way you see the tragedy downward spiral of this character who eventually become the crown prince of crime is a beautiful way to show just how twisted and hilarious the Joker is as a person.

When this movie first came out wasn't really sure about how it would be. Waited till it hit redbox to watch it. So basically its weird and dark, It's a drama film not an action movie, so not what you are used to in a DC film. The best part of the film is the ending. I only got it because it was on sale and part of the DC family.

OMG!!!! Could not take our eyes off the screen! Joakim Phoenix deserves an Oscar for his performance in this spellbinding movie. The storyline was truly believable as he pulls you in to his incredibly sad life. You will watch it multiple times.

This movie does for the Joker what the New 3 episodes of Aaron Hernandez did for him: shedding light into the mentalities and culture surrounding these unfortunate wannabe criminals! Great Movie! Phoenix has already won an award for Best Actor.

Here's a movie that is a must see when it comes to villains. Phoenix portrays this character with such mastery. A man with mental disease who uses that to become the villain we hate to love. This is worthy of an Oscar as a movie and best actor.
