Joaquin Phoenix gives an Oscar worthy performance and otherwise carries that movie on his back the whole time. The film itself wasn’t bad by any means but at the same time it wasn’t anything better than that. Not bad, but not god tier status by any means.

Happy I purchased it and happy with the 4K quality. The plot of the movie, of course, is quite dark, so it's not going to be watched very much. I'm not quite as much over the rainbow with Phoenix's acting as a lot are, but it's a matter of opinion.

I was expecting a bit more from the cover of this steel, but the words on the front kind of ruin it. The back cover would have made for a better front cover, or even the inside design. Other than that, great film, definitely worth owning on 4K

Maybe this is just a case of hearing so many good things about a movie before you watch but I thought this movie was pretty boring. Nothing wrong with the acting, just a very sad and slow moving movie with little to no action in my opinion.

I had high hopes for this movie. I will say, Joaquin Phoenix played his part brilliantly so, if you are a fan of his, it’s worth the watch. The film, as a whole, is seriously dark and not what I look for in or from a Batman franchise character, The Joker... It’s more of a psychological thriller or real-life to screen drama about a deranged lunatic. But, much of Hollyweird is dark, foreboding and depressing nowadays. Some will surely love it. I found it depressing, and longing for a Jack Nicholson or Heath Ledger Joker. I did enjoy the last violent scene, but that was most likely because I dislike the actor who portrayed the character who dies. Have fun!
