An interesting take on the Jokers origins.

Not really what you expect!

It is more a story of a mentally ill man descending deeper and deeper into total insanity. While some parts can help explain the characters odd behaviors (like uncontrollable laughing ) it does tie into the Batman origin story by showing the Joker causing the circumstances behind Batman's becoming an orphan. Very gritty and dark.
