I wasn't sure what to expect so I purchased this 4K blu ray out of curiosity. Besides, the folks who produce these incredible Imax films, MacGillivray Freeman always make interesting and enjoyable documentaries. Journey To The South Pacific is a wonder to look at. It is beautiful and very educational. I found myself lost in the locations. You can't help but appreciate the story and the journey it takes you on. The 4k image is spot on. The sound, the overall presentation, you feel like you're there.

If you have a samsung tv and samsung 4K blue ray player its a must. One of the few films available in HDR10+ format. Makes a huge difference in picture quality, comparable to dolbyvision. Other than image quality movie is boring. Feels like a demo at the store.

This is fun and the imagery and scenery are stunning.

The visuals are what you'd expect in an IMAX doc about the South Pacific islands. The story about an island boy who joins an educational summer workshop aboard ship to learn about history and issues of sustainablity is okay. At 40 minutes or so, it almost held the interest of my young granddaughters, who were all in at the beginning but started getting restless at about the half hour mark.
