What a legend! Judy Garland was in a class of her own. Her story, her struggles is addicting to watch. If ur a fan,you'll luv this movie. If u weren't you'll luv her story. A classic movie portrayal of the genius of Judy Garland Movie Star. Sad there's never been another like her talent ,,,,, singing acting dancing with all her heart!! Def worth buying to watch again & again!!

Renee Zellweger nails her performance as the troubled Judy Garland in the final months of her life. There are flash backs to the youthful Judy who was controlled not only by her desire for fame but also manipulated and controlled by her studio. A sad look into the cost of fame.

Renee really delivers with her portrayal of the late Judy Garland. You get too see her last troubling years before her untimely death along with flashbacks of her childhood years (Including the Wizard of Oz!) I definitely recommend this film for any Judy Fan.

Judy was a complicated star and this story does her justice. amazing performances. great music. i wish it had been a little longer to include more details. happy to own it.

Judy is beyond fabulous! The movie is fantastic and Renee Zellweger's performance as Judy Garland is Oscar worthy.

It was sad watching a cinema icon go down the way she did but she is still an icon and will always be.

JUDY may not get all the facts correctly in the final years/days in the life of Judy Garland, but it does tell it like it really was. The greed and lack of concern for the negative impact the Hollwyood Studio System reeked on Judy in her youth led to her mental healthy an d addiction problems throughout her life. Renee Zellweger's portrayal of Judy is an incredible acting phenomenon. She captures everything about Judy Garland in frightening honesty. JUDY entertains greatly while telling the truly unhappy story of one of the greatest entertainers in history. You will not soon forget this remarkable tale of tragic finality. We'll never forget Dorothy. We'll never forget Judy too!

I purchased this based on the nostalgia of the wonderful Judy Garland. Over all it is a fair movie. Great hollywood actors....but just doesn't quite hit the nerve that Judy could. If you are not familiar with her ... you would love it.

Renee Zellweger performs in her Oscar winning role as Judy Garland. Convincing acting, singing and flashbacks to the formative days that lead to Garland's theatrical success make this film remarkable. The tragic handling of Ms. Garland in her early career contribute to the anxieties and personal problems in she faces in her current life. At times this film is upsetting to watch but it's special.

I didn't expect to like this movie. I'm old enough that I remember watching Judy Garland on the small black and white tv in the 60s. However, I thought that Renee Zellwegger did an excellent job. She didn't "become" Judy Garland, but it's a movie and Judy is gone so that isn't possible anyway. Since the movie is about Judy's London performances just before she passed, it is very sad.

It has worked well since purchasing it. I still have not completed moving everything from the old one. Someplace I read told me to use 'HELP" instead of a manual, but I still haven't found "help" yet. Photos look great, much better than the old phone. This phone turns itself on a lot, but the battery lasts for two days.

What a performance by Rene Zellweger! Great behind-the-scenes story. May not be totally suitable for folks who are not familiar with Judy Garland's earlier career...and how she was once one of the top box officer stars in the world. But the movie is so well done, it should be seen by everyone.

Incredible performance by Renee Zellwegger as she breaks back into the scene with this beautiful portrayal of late in life Judy Garland. Though her voice is not exactly like Judy’s it is quite a feat that she actuallly redid all of her songs and actually sounds quite good! Definite recommendation!

We bought one and received another as a gift, so we returned one. We were not able to watch it for a few months because our Blu-ray player did not have the latest software. We have now watched this DVD twice. It is a really good biography about a former Hollywood star.

The storyline is about the heartache Miss Garland experiences at a particular time in her life but Miss Zellenger portrayed her SO well one could feel the emotional turmoil Judy Garland must have gone through during that period. This movie is well worth seeing!

I don't think anyone who was alive, as I was, when Judy Garland was performing will not appreciate and be grateful for Ms. Zellweger's s transfixing emotionally charged performance. She did not deserve an Oscar...she deserved two Oscars!!!

rene gives the performance of her career as the legendary Judy garland chronicling her last few years of life her failures her alcohol abuse and her controversial london shows...it made me cry...a powerful well made film...a must see!!!

I saw this in the theater alone. When I got home BF was I really wanted to see that and kept asking about it so I surprised him and purchased a copy. (music is great! although parts did make me cry ~ but what life doesn't include some tears)

The Judy movie is a great and excellent movie of the late Judy Garland who I loved and very much miss her. A true entertainer she was and a wonderful person who was greatly taken advantage of in her personal and professional life. I cried.
