Wow what a surprise buy and a great movie. I you have not seen this one you need to pick it up and check it out. Judy delivers.

Renee Zellweger gives an Oscar caliber performance as Judy Garland in her last hurrah in her London theatre performances in the late 1960s. It's sad to see Garland, a major talent in her youth self-destruct in middle age. Zellweger embodies the role in such a way that we can feel the downward spiral and know that there is no reprieve. The film is worth seeing because of the performance that makes us care.
