Jumanji is one of my personal favorite movies of all time (RIP Robin Williams). I've seen the new one. I actually like the new one. But nothing could ever compare to the original. There's so much nostalgia and classic 90s movie fun here. This is a movie you just have to have in your collection.

We love the movie, but there was no instruction for redeeming digital copy included. Took it back to my local store asking for help and they exchanged it with the one comes with the case. Great customer service as well!

Though the movie's been redone with others, this will always be my favorite. Robin Williams was one-of-a-kind! It's a short get-away from our everyday lives, and the special effects are fun to watch. If you've never seen it, I'd say it's worth buying! It's blu-ray so it's even better than the dvd.

My husband and I purchased this Blu ray because it was $5 and it was a movie from our childhood that we loved. We enjoyed reminiscing as we watched the graphics which are now almost laughable but we are still incredibly happy we got this movie. Thanks Best Buy, it was a perfect price.

I never thought this movie was more than a fun time, but seeing it over again is a great way to appreciate how each of us matters. You really do get engaged and understand how we each impact others. Great fun way to learn something while enjoying yourself!

Another movie being released for 4k that makes you skeptical on if you'll even notice a change. As a huge robin Williams fan, I knew I had to get it. Extremely happy i did. Wonderful picture. Takes me back to when I was a child watching this movie

Loved this movie as a kid, one of the first movies I saw with Robin Williams. Happy it’s released in Blu-ray, great quality, Action packed, keeps you on the edge of your seat, and not to mention the wonderful Performance by Robin Williams. A true legend!

Since I was a kid I’ve been watching Jumanji, it’s a great film to watch with the family. My kids thought mom picked a boring movie, boy were they wrong! Their attention was kept the entire film! I have a 9,7, and 4 yr old who now love the movie with me.

Talk about childhood nostalgia! One of my favorite films from Robin Williams.

In complete honesty, I did not order this for the 4K HDR disc; I just wanted the case, because it finally is fancy enough, and classic enough to represent the anxiety-ridden thrill that was the first Jumanji film. As for a brief rundown on the contents, the film is an amazing work or writing, with some very crazy moments. A few of the plot points seem repetitive and contrived, but what it lacks in those areas, it makes up for in adrenaline. The film still holds up, 23 years later. Some of the special effects didn't look that great, even on the standard blu-ray, and have aged even worse with 4K and HDR engaged, but the soundtrack has never sounded better, and the rest of the film has never looked better. Overall, if you have a blu-ray copy of this, I would stick with that. The benefits of the newer format are minimal, from the newer soundtrack mix (still lossless, just with the Dolby Atmos rather than the general blu-ray's DTS-HD Master track), to the minor benefits of the 4K transfer, with HDR. Not a huge difference, and it you can get it cheaper, I would say to go for the regular blu-ray. UNLESS you're doing this, as I did, for the beautiful steelbook case, which does a great job, with the embossed metal, of replicating the gameboard, you'll do just as well with an older blu-ray. However, for the sake of nostalgia, and the quality of the packaging, I give this my five stars.

Love this movie! Brings back great childhood memories. Will never get old. Almost brings tears seeing how wonderful Robin Williams was. Still so tragic to think about the loss of such a rare gem with great talent.

The original Jumanji is still just as good as it was when it came out in the 90s. I must say that with this 4K Blu-ray it doesn't seem to be much difference in quality overall compared to that of standard 1080P HD

Already seen this movie when it was first shown in the theater many years ago. Looking forward to the latest Jumanji movie that will be hitting the theaters soon. While i enjoyed the first installment of the movie once again. Im much more inclined to accept that the newer version has better efforts and is more entertaining. Obtain at a great price for this classic.

Loved the movie. The steelbook reminds you of the Jumanji board game. Worth buying.

After my boys (12 and 10) watched the newer version they wanted to see this version. Although similar storylines still different and they loved it! Some parts are a little scary but overall they still loved it.

I’ve watched this movie since I was a child. Loved every moment of it. I have the original and though it looks better in Blue-Ray and I was right. Color and graphics are great considering this is an old film.

A classic Robin Williams movie, that now tugs at the heart string since his passing. But this is still a great family movie, it’s a shame the new sequels won’t ever have him in it. Totally worth a buy.

The design of this steelbook is amazing! The front looks just like the box of the Jumanji board game. The inside has a layout of the board with spaces. Got this on sale and couldn't be happier!

robin always played the part and added humor at the same time

Numerous moments of suspense, yet moments of humor. Definitely captures and retains your attention. We actually watched this one after the newer Jumanji release and they are very complementary.
