THe first two movies are the best ever because they were written by Michael Crichton, a master storyteller. They had awesome plots, effects, actors, scenery, and dinosaurs. The third movie was written by someone other than Michael Crichton (possibly Steven Spielberg) so it's nowhere near as good, but it's worth watching once for the cellphone in dinosaur scene. The only way the story of Jurassic Park could get better for anyone would be if he or she actually read the Crichton novels.

The Jurassic Park adventure pack is good deal at Best Buy, for $14. You get all three movies, in a neat collectible package. Seems like the perfect collector's item... except for.... THE SOUND. Jurassic Park is/was a miletsone in filmmaking because of a few things, including it was the first film ever in DTS. The DTS soundtracks for all three movies, as opposed to the standard Dolby Digital 5.1, is AMAZING. Some of the best sound ever on a DVD. Part of enjoying the adventure of the Jurassic Park, is the awesome sound and sound effects. Those movies are just not the same without the pulse pounding sound of T-Rex footsteps or the hair-raising roar of the other dinos. The DTS sound is an integral part of the experience of the JP trilogy. Each film was released on DVD in a Special Edition, which of course had the great DTS soundtrack on them. Thus, it is incredibly dissapointing that this nifty "Adventure Pack" box set does NOT have the DTS soundtracks, only the standard Dolby one... which makes this product vastly inferior to the individual SE versions. If you don't have a digital sound system, don't care about sound or picture, or are hard of hearing already... I could recommend this box set. But if you care about sound quality, and have a nice digital sound system or a DVD player with DTS, then I do NOT recommend this product, as it is missing the DTS.

I love this movie set its full of adventure and action. Jurassic Park bonus materials include: The making of Jurassic Park, Early pre-production meetings, Sroryboards, Dinosaur encyclopedia, and more. The Lost World bonus material includes: Deleted scenes, the making of the lost world, storyboards, Dinosaur encyclopedia, and more. Jurassic Park III bonus materials include: The making of JP3, commentary, the new dinosaurs, behing the scense, and more.

Live in the world of dinosaurs. Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park II, and Jurassic Park III come in this mindblowing set. The DVD cover is the gates to Jurassic Park. The inside DVD case has all three films with great pictures of all the movies. Special features and behind the scenes come as well. Highly recommend that you buy this.

I absolutely love the Jurassic Park series, especially the original one, so this was a must have. I have seen each of them well over 30 times and still love to watch them. This is a must-buy for anyone who is a fan of this series, and if you have never seen any of these movies, I highly recommend that you do.

I have always loved the Jurassic Park series, and when i saw this package in Best Buy i thought that it was perfect, and i was right it was perfect. Since I bought the 3 movies, ive watched each of them at least 10 times. And i've heard rumors of a Jurassic Park 4 being released in summer of 2008.

Steven Spielberg does it again with 2 great and one pretty good movie. They are all good in, acting, CG, and so forth i just don't like the setting for the 3rd, even though it freshens it up some. Certainly worth seeing though!

This was a stocking stuffer for Christmas which I ordered late but it arrived quickly. I love Best Buy's online store. I am so glad I decided to get the colection my 5yr old daughter loved them all!

I've been looking for the box set for a long time...I would've preferred it on Bluray but the picture still shows great on the 55" LED

I thought the first one was really good but then they drop off from there.

I ordered this dvd box set as a replacement for one i had and lost. The original one looked the same but when you opened the box set it opened from the front the two gates opened up and the dvds were in there. The one i just recieved did not the dvds slide in on the side and the front cover does not open. I was disappointed i am a huge dvd collector i have over 2,000 dvd and i wanted this box set back in my collection but it is not what i had expected the price was the same but the quality and make of the box set was not
