Just Cause 3 is a good sandbox style game, but this review is for the collector's edition content only. The grappling hook is made of cheap materials and feels very flimsy as compared to other collector's editions I've purchase over the past couple of years. The art book is very small, about the size of the game case. The map has been folded several times, too many times for the size of the packaging. For the trouble, this could have been stuck inside the game case. Overall packaging was good, and contents inside were well protected for shipping. I am happy with the collection considering I bought this when it was marked down, but would have been 3 star disappointed at full price.

The game it self is great. I had fun and enjoyed it. I paid around $60 for the collector's edition which I feel is a reasonable price. Do not pay for price for this its just not worth it.

Although the game is lagging and crashing from time to time, i love the extra stuff come with the collector editon.

Story missions are great, gameplay is very fun. Gets a little repetitive though.

I have enjoyed the previous installments of this game, so I was planning on buying the third one no matter what. However the price on this collector's edition was to good to pass up, so I got it earlier than anticipated and not the version I was planning on. Very happy about this.

For cheaper than the regular edition... comes with a map, art book and a model of the grappling hook. Would say it was worth it. Not full price, but cheap. Go for it!

With the new discounted price, i got this game to try it out. (I also love collectors editions) although collectors edition's contents are limited(only a statue and a very small artbook and a map) No steelbook might be a downside for people who are used to collectors editions that comes with it. But game is fun, it has its quirks and Frame drops here and there but its a fun game with very big statue. Figure is definetly the best part of this set. Although be warned, its near life size , but it wouldnt fit an adult arm like Fallout pipboy does, more like a 13 year olds arm would fit in it.

The game has good mechanics, a fun open world, and lots of explosions. The art book is nice, and it has some cool art to look at if you like that. The poster is large and fun, and it is actually two sided, with a picture similar to the cover on the non-map side. The replica grappling hook unfortunately does not fit on adult hands, although I doubt it was designed to. It is put on a stand you build, and then you can look at it. It looks awesome on the stand.

Love to open sandbox and different types of game play. Storyline is good and the boss level isn't impossible. And hey, there is even the smoke monster from lost as an easter egg.

Open world gaming done right. If you ever played Just Cause 1 or 2 you should know what to expect. If you like open world destruction this is the game.

Without the price drop, this was already a good deal. With the price drop, this is only a must buy, especially for any Just Cause fan. You get a great quality game, a good quality 24x24 double sided poster, a nice 48 page artbook, and an extremely cool quality plastic replicated rico grappling hook w/ stand. You're surely not wasting any money here.

This game is awesome total freedom to do any over the top extravagant stunt. It's total open world, which I like cause you can customize your adventure. The replica hook shot was alot bigger than I expected and it's an awesome display item caught this at an awesome sale definitely worth it for the price I paid

I love this game. Have been a fan of this series since the first game. Action packed.

I got this when it went on sale for $60 plus my 20% Gamer club discount. I would say if I would've paid full retail for this I would feel let down though. The replica is nicely done and it rather large, but there's nothing more to it. It's a cool collectors item. I've yet to play the game, but I poured in so many hours to get Platinum on #2 and from videos I've seen, seems like it'll be real fun.

Cool game. Basically got the extras for free. The game itself cost the same.

WIth a collectors edition, I typically expect a steel book game case, maybe a season pass. Nope.

Just Cause 3, as the name implies, is the third game in the series. It's unnecessary to have played the previous titles, however; as each game is its own contained story. The story revolves around the main protagonist, Rico, returning to his home country to help liberate it from oppression. The gameplay is very fun and entertaining. Involving all manners of destruction and retaking territory from the dictator controlling the island. Capturing territory grants access to all sorts of activities, among them is racing, wingsuit gliding, and gameplay challenges. The game's visuals are fantastic and immersive. The game world is vast and massive. The music pumps you up and gets you into the action. There is something to be said about the difficulty, however. Enemies do spawn right around corners, and even behind you. It's enough to make it unfair. And some of the challenges feel like they rely on you collecting upgrades to make them easier. The upgrade system, as well, is very linear, as opposed to letting you pick your path. These are minor issues, though. I'd highly recommend the game to fans of the series, or anyone interested in action games in an open world.
