Having been a fan of Just Cause 2 and 3, this follow up was a day one purchase. The controls and toolsets have been revamped this time, which may throw off those that expected the same scheme that was so similar between the last 2 releases, so there is definitely a learning curve. It all comes together with taking everything to a whole other level exceeding what part 3 did over it's predecessor. Again, it's all about unleashing mayhem. You'll be less likely to look for aircraft given the addition of jetpacks to your wing suit, which lets you soar everywhere.

Super fun if you liked the previous entries into this franchise. Not much new additions as far as gameplay. The environmental settings are fun but can also be annoying depending on what you’re trying to do in the game. Storyline is silly and not consistent but good enough to play and the gameplay is just a whole lot of blow anything up that you want to. If you can dream it, well yeah you can probably do it in this game. Would recommend.

Just Cause 4 really doesn't deserve 5 stars. It'e essentially JC3 with a new location and a few new ways to blow things up, but boy... is it still just as fun as ever. While EA sports pretty much gets away with repackaging the same, slightly tweaked versions of games with each iterarion, Just Cause is that rare exception, a la Rebellion's Zombie Army games, where you're not entirely sure what else could be done to make it more fun than what it is. And what "it" (Just Cause 4, in this case,) is a playground of destruction. With the tools given to you, it is pretty much up to the limits of your imagination as to how you go about causing Michael Bay levels of explosive chaos. If you can imagine it, it's a pretty sure bet that you can do it, leading to impressive, and hilarious, moments of carnage unleashed. I suppose the only negative that can be levied against the series, continued in JC4, is that Season Passes, (included in this Gold Edition,) is that Avalanche Studios always finds even more things to add to each game that aren't included with the Season Pass. So, while you'll get the majority of DLC with this Gold Edition, if you want it ALL, it may set you back a bit more. Avalanche rarely adds it at any sort of premium pricing, but it can set you back an additional five dollars or so.

This isnt a GTA clone. Its a sandobox game in its own genre. Very good game IMO. Great Graphics and good Gameplay. Story was great too and the controls, I found were very responsive. Still overall a very good purchase! (especially on sale !)-will miss the the Gamers Rewards Program...

Bought this for my son and he loves it! The tornados and sand storms are a cinematic extra that you can interact with. Just Cause 3 didn't have and is entertaining. If you loved JC3, you'll love JC4. It is a single player game. Story line is awesome.

Just Cause 4 is an improvement on Just Cause 3 when it comes to how the game runs. The framerate is improved massively but the game itself isn't a huge departure. If you enjoyed past Just Cause games you'll enjoy this one.

If your a fan of the franchise this interation brings weather mechanics that brings challenging gameplay to the open world and how you complete objectives.

this game to me is like a nicer version of gta but a lot of explosions and cool stunts you can do

The Just Cause series is fantastic and the newest one doesn’t disappoint! Action, story & characters are the best!

This game doesn't have the best graphics. This game doesn't have the best story. This game isn't perfect. But this game has the best physics engine I have ever played with. It is a destructive playhouse where you can do incredibly awesome destructive things like hook a car to a helicopter and watch the two crush together in a fiery explosion :) Highly recommended!

Having played this for a week so far, I find it's a bit confusing compared to its predecessor, but still a good game. This game raises the complexity level a fair bit, as Square games have done in recent years (the Tomb Raider reboot series is a prime example.) Thankfully it still manages to be lots of fun blowing things up, though I wish the player could use grenades like the previous game allowed for.

My 14 year old has beaten all the previous entries in this series. He loves them due to the mayhem and parachute. Its a lesser version of GTA in his mind. I got this for $30 and he beat it in less than a week. He continues to play but really enjoyed the game. I watched and the graphics are amazing!

Great game very fun good game play and runs smoothly

I was relieved that once Best Buy approved my price match for Just Cause 4 Gold Edition. The game itself is similar to Just Cause 3 with some changes to the story. I’ve always enjoyed the Just Cause series since the Xbox 360 releases.

This game is great fun! Best one to date! My only one gripe with it is that most of the time the game can look quite stunning and some parts look not so hot. For the most part it looks great and plays great!

Love it. I loved the 3rd game and I feel this one improves on many aspects of that one especially on the graphics side. I do miss the ability to keep guns I prefer after running out of ammo, but the entertainment value of the game out weighs that personal preference.

I was new to this series with JC3. I couldn't stop playing the game. I feel the same with this one. The one drawback is the amount of motion blur. If they could fix that, this game would be "perfect".

I’ve loved all of the Just Cause games but I thought the series took a step backwards with 3. This games fixes those issues and gets the game back to being fun! Love it!

If you're familiar with part 3, you'll love part 4. If not, lots of explosions and craziness in an open world. Check the trailers and then buy the game!
