We have a kitten that has chewed through several plastic cords. The material of this cord is perfect and she doesn't even try to chew it.

Purchased more than a few charging cords but they are used and abused by teenagers but Best Buy has the ones I've been looking for.

The cable works great and feels very rugged. However, it is not cheap.

I chose this cord for its durability and longer length, since the apple charge cords easily split and are too short. While this cord fits the bill on those elements, it causes problems for the device you are trying to charge or sync. Every time I plug in my device, it causes glitches. Apps open by themselves, device freezes, etc. An irritating discovery for the price I paid.
