Braiding make the cord seem sturdier and takes more abuse than standard wires. The 6-foot length lets me charge where ever I need on my desk without having to worry about coming up short.

I needed an phone charger that was sturdy and this charger def. meets that criteria. Also, the cord is long so you can still use your while charging without being so close to the outlet.

Bought for durability, travel a lot cord gets folded all the time. This substantial cord fits the bill. Wish it came in shorter length. 1 or 2 ft would be ideal for my needs and storage

Reliable, well made cable for charging my iPhone & iPad. Braided and flexible. I like the longer 6' length. More convenient for playing games on the couch while plugged in. Ends do heat up slightly while charging. Because of the metal ends, it seems it will be more durable than the previous Apple 6' cord I am replacing. The plastic ends are cracking on my Apple version. Suggested to me for purchase by a Best Buy associate. Thank you. I am most pleased.
