Solid adaptation of the Darwin Cooke graphic novel! Epic!

I love the original comic book miniseries from Darwyn Cooke so I was excited to see this adapted on screen. Darwyn, being from animation originally, has a style that translates well. While they obviously couldn't fit everything from the miniseries into this movie, the adaptation is still quite enjoyable. The only new feature in this commemorative edition is a featurette on the late Darwyn Cooke, so it may not be worth it if you have the original release. But if you had not previously gotten it on Blu-ray or want it for the steelbook packaging, it's worth the re-buy.

I missed this disc when it was originally released, watched a friend's copy, but really wanted it for my own collection. I was glad to see it released in Steelbook form, and made sure to grab it this time around! It's a fun retro story, set in the Silver Age, when Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and the rest were just starting out. The origin of Green Lantern Hal Jordan is featured, among other stories of the earlier exploits of the Justice League heroes.

The movie itself is a wonderful animated film that is a tribute to the comics of the 1950s. But for the bluray it's great except...... again not a interesting title screen! Just a image with the buttons on the bottom. DC films always do this which bother me and they don't even do music. But otherwise I love the picture, the bonus features.

I heard about this movie on a podcast I listen to. They convinced me to check it out. After I ordered it on Prime Video and streamed it I wished I had ordered the dvd or Blu-ray because I loved it! It’s a great classic story and I love their period they set it in. I love all these heroes and can’t wait to revisit it and also get my hands on the comic it is based on!

Movie was alright but not what I expected. Could have been better. NPH voiced the flash so that's a positive

This movie was extremely entertaining. Without giving any spoilers, it takes place in the 1960’s during the paranoia of the Cold War. The back story of The Green Lantern was really well done and anything with Martian Manhunter is a plus in my book. Great film! If you’re a D.C. film collector, as I am, this is a must have.

This is the Justice League's formation and this story was released a few years back however the true gem is the special features that involve a history of DC characters and Comics in general. Stan Lee appears in the documentary and it's a must see for new and old fans alike.

Big fan of the DC animated universe. Enjoyed watching the movie. Quality of the steelbook is nice. I'm a stickler for appearance. It is also nice having a digital copy. These days.. I will not buy a movie unless it has a digital copy since company want to make it illegal to rip you own movies.

A good DC comic movie. Pretty good story but i think it could been better.

This was originally released in 2008 and I'm sure it was brought back to capitalize on the upcoming Justice League film. The animation is GREAT, the voice work is top notch. It gets a little bogged down in storytelling because there isn't enough time. Overall, it's a very worthwhile purchase and I like the new art on the blu ray cover.

If your a JLA fan, you will love this animation film. Going back to the Golden Age of comics and reprising Heroes long gone from this time is fantastic. It's a must watch for any Justice League enthusiast.
