DC makes the best animation movies! And this one is just as good. I love when the team is together. A must have for your collection.

Finally a movie were auqaman is a feature. This movie follows the events right after Justice League: War. DC does a great job in finishing the story as well as bringing a well known super hero to life. If you like auqaman and want to see him as the super hero he is with nods to Batman "the Brave and the Bold" this movie is for you.

For any DC comic fan this is a different twist on the Justice League and Aqua Man comic. Adaption of story is great with Cyborg story line thrown in to the mix along with Aqua Man's half brother. Story is not for children strictly adult or teenager overall great movie and story line.

Throne of Atlantis takes some liberties to change the story from the comics, but it is still a great representation of Aquaman. He's long been thought of as a joke and it's good to see him getting time to shine in a positive light. I bought the Best Buy exclusive set with the mini Aquaman figure inside and for the size, he is sculpted really well. If you are already a fan this is a must have, but if you are familiar with Aquaman only in name alone, grab this movie and get some knowledge on the King of Atlantis!

I'm giving this 4 stars because it is Good. This is basically the sequel to Justice League WAR. JL: War is based on the New 52 of DC comics, which is ending or has ended by now with "Rebirth." I do like the voice acting in this movie. Having Rosario Dawson as Wonder Woman, Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern & Jerry O'Connell as Superman were nice changes. The rest of the voice cast of Shemar Moore/Cyborg, Sean Astin /Shazam & Jason O'Mara/Batman returning rounds off the cast well. The story of Arthur Curry/Aquaman is pretty good. We get to learn about Aquaman's origin and see his ties to Atlantis, the over all story is about Aquaman Bridging both surface & underwater worlds together. The fight scenes with Mera vs Evil doers are surprisingly a little more violent than I thought they would be. Visually the underwater scenes are well done. It's not a bad pickup if you want to add to your DC animated library.

I'll admit that I'm a bit of a "comic geek" to begin with, so realize that before you continue. DC Animation lately has been putting out some amazing films, and this is one more in a great line of direct to DVD animated films. Although the film does put a fair amount of focus on the character of Aquaman, they do a great deal portraying the character as a flawed person and making him real. A very great story. My only caution about this is that parents with small children under the age of 13 should not show this film to them. There are some scenes of violence that are pretty explicit (such as when a degenerate race of deep dwelling creatures come to the surface, and the Justice League basically slices/dices/shoots/rips these creatures apart with a fair amount of gore). NOT a film to show to young children.

I thoroughly enjoyed this DCU animated film. I really like the voice acting, the action was great, and plot was very good. Probably the best "Aquaman" story yet! Definitely great addition to my collection!

The storyline, characters, and animation are all top notch. Plenty of action, intrigue, and excitement. This is a great jump on point for those who are not familiar with DC's Animated Universe and even better continuation of the stories that us DC fans already know and love. This film gives great insight into the history of an often overlooked member of the Justice League and highlights abilities and aspects of his personality that were previously unexplored. Overall another great entry into the DC animated Films Universe!

Great first Aquaman movie a lot of action good story great voice actors

Always love to watch DC animated movies so I got this one and I'm happy with my purchase.

I saw this movie at Best Buy and thought it would be good, and it was!

Good adaption from the comics, but left out some minor things that make sense if you saw Justice League War. Great introduction to Aquaman and his destiny to become King of Atlantis while also facing his lineage and enemies that come his way. Justice League get plenty of screentime without taking the main focus away from Aquaman who the story is really about.

I watched this movie after I watched the live-action Aquaman movie in theaters and I find that this movie was a pretty good complement to that movie. Certain people did not like it as much as I did but I find this to be a pretty good animated Justice league movie. I would recommend this to any comic book fan or to any fan of DC comics superheroes.

this is my 2nd review of the movie. I really liked how the movie explained the tenuous relationship between Orn, Arthur Curry and Atlanta. The movie was well done and lots of action. The movie is well worth the money and I am look forward to the next title "Batman vs Robin" to come out.

A classic DC storyline retold in animation. Definitely worth owning

Pretty good movie even if it is in the new 52 universe.

I have to say about this movie it was good. It's a newer version of one they released some years ago and when the new Aquaman movie came out this was released over again with a few new extra's that the release before didn't have. I say if you saw the live-action movie you should also check this one out. It's just as good.

Very good movie, as most DC animated mocies are. Good picture and sound quality too, despite warner brorhers only using 5.1 and no atmos or dts x on their animared movies.

Awesome for any comic book superhero fans. Great story
