I love it,...I really think I made a good purchase

It was a product that was recommended to me from an audio tech and I had it for maybe 2 1/2 weeks and it started shutting off and restarting while I was driving, playing music or using google maps or even making a call. Then it started to get worst where it would just stay off and give me a msg to pull the car over and turn it on and off. I took it to bestbuy and they told me it might be the firmware that is not compatible with my iPhone XS. So I got a better one. I recommend the alpine ILXF309, if you really want something nice. I love mine!

Apple car play makes texting safe keeps your attention on the road with verbal text reading and replying! Hands free calling screen looks like I phone when using Apple CarPlay. Only disappointment is no apps for Netflix or Hulu or way to screen monitor from my I phone! Apple maps music and Waze apps are helpful! Great sound and equalizer! Touch screen but I wanted a remote also and had to order it separately as it is not included, but it is inexpensive to purchase elsewhere. I haven’t purchased the backup camera yet but will add one soon. Overall nice product and It does more than I’m currently using it for!

I was excited that I could find a stereo that had mostly digital controls with few buttons, so that I wouldn’t have to worry about them being hard to push or any dials to turn after the radio was installed. This was perfect for just that reason. It boots up quick, and Apple carplay works flawlessly. The Geek-Squad did an extraordinary job on installing the radio. You wouldn’t know it was aftermarket judging by the looks of it. The only bad thing I can say about this product is that sometimes it loses power entirely when the car is off, causing me to have to reset the time when I turn the car on. This is uncommon, but it is still an inconvenience worth noting.

I purchased this head unit mainly for the Apple CarPlay feature, which I now enjoy daily. I also like that the display takes up a majority of the space and there are very few physical buttons compared to some of the other head units. Apple CarPlay can be buggy, though from reading various forums online it seems to be more of an issue with the Apple CarPlay software, not necessarily with this head unit. Upgrading the head unit’s firmware from JVC’s website, as well as updating the iPhone’s software, helped resolve some issues. Now when Apple CarPlay does occasionally freeze, I simply unplug the USB cable and then plug it back in to get thins working again. The included microphone provides clear hands-free calling and Siri interaction.

I simply love my new JVC system. Now I can make calls hands free, listen to my favorite book, get directions or jam to my favorite tunes. With the mic on my steering panel my family and friends hear me clearly, which was a major problem before this JVC install. I couldn’t be happier.

I purchased this radio on sale and came with their installation free. I paid around $400 with all installlation accesories. Geek installed with almost perfection. everything is working great!... The radio has apple play and android radio compatible. APple play works faulessly and havent tried with android yet. So far very happy. It is a very good upgrade compared to the factory radio from my 2010 Town and Contry. The sound is event better. With more effects and settings that the original stereo. Everyone loves it when they ride my minivan.

I have this installed in my 2006 Yukon. It does the job. It is sleek and looks good installed. For some reason, my iPhone 11 will not automatically connect with Bluetooth. I have to have it plugged into the USB port. Whether that's the phone, the radio or the user, I am not sure. The flow is a bit choppy if you are trying to listen to the radio and use the Maps off your phone. You have to push quite a few buttons to switch back and forth between the screens. First world problems right there :) I am not a huge fan of the main screen - even with changing the background, it is too busy for my taste and is way too bright at night - again, even after adjusting it. I do like the Apple CarPlay display - simple, easy to see... but I am guessing that is on Apple. It works OK with my backup camera. The quality of picture is not the greatest, but that is likely the camera. It also cuts in and out sometimes, which is probably installation. Where this would be a win-win-win would be if it can show a feed from a camera (such as in a horse trailer) while driving. If I was a computer genius, I might be able to figure it out... but I am not.

this head unit is very adequate, but isn't completely Android friendly. To say that it has Android Auto is a stretch, it works with my Android phone and the Android Auto App activates in my phone, but the Android App is missing from the Head unit it self! The JVC App is garbage and kind of useless, it freezes up and only has a limited functionality. The unit itself has good sound and fair power, I have stock Hyundai speakers in my Sante Fe and this unit cleared them out nicely. I recommend this unit, especially if it is on sale, I have not played with the DVD so I can not say anything about that feature.

Sounds quality is amazing! Easy to use features. iPhone works great with the CarPlay

After having to add onto the price of the radio with an extension so that I can use my steering options, I also need to order another part so that I can use the USB port. The radio is pretty cool, however, turning down the volume is no easy task without the steering controls. The app that I was told to download keeps glitching on my phone. It'll disconnect when the car is turned off, but then it will connect, disconnect, connect and so on so I would have to reboot my phone each time I exit the car. In addition, the apps on the radio only connected to my phone once. Perhaps my phone is out of date compared to the stereo, but there was no mention as to any requirements when the stereo was purchased. On a positive note, the sound quality is very good!

Fits perfectly on my gc8. Installation is a piece of cake if you know what you are doing. I love the way it quickly connects to my phone via Bluetooth. There is no lag response from the touch screen. I haven't really tried other app it has but I do love the customization for your equalizer.

I bought this unit to replace my factory radio. Very satisfied with the results. Old unit was 12 years old and now I feel like i've upgrade to have features of a new car radio. Great sound quality and lots of options within the radio.

Got this jvc to replace similar pioneer radio that I was never happy with. I like the jvc better. Installed myself so it would be done right. (Best Buy installed the pioneer and some features never worked as they should have)

Radio works great. GreatMulti function radio iPhone adaptable GPS and lots of other toys on this radio to play with also has a CD player and the sound is great

I like it very much. Apple car play radio, back up camera screen, google map works great. It would be great if google map is still works on apple car play when we minimize google map app on Iphone.

Really happy with the unit that Best Buy sold me and installed for me. Loved having a touch screen navigation system and safe access to phone and messages on my big road trip. Very happy I bought it!

A very nice radio for my vehicle. Best Buy installation was flawless installer was very concerned and made the installation look easy. In my opinion one of the best head units out there.

Purchased this stereo for my 2011 Silverado. It’s grest. Brings me into the latest electronics world. Apple car play works great. The sound of the stereo is excellent.

Bought in December and I'm loving this radio it does what I need. At first I couldn't connected to pandora but now I can, Waze works great (just not used to it).
