I bought this for my 2005 car after getting used to having CarPlay navigation on a rental for a week. No major complaints in terms of its performance. The user interface for settings is not terribly intuitive on its own. Usually I can figure those things out, but I had to consult the manual at times for seemingly simple stuff like setting the time. One annoying factor here is the brightness while night driving. You can turn it down, but I think it is somewhat bothersome. Fortunately, you can turn the whole display off without killing the music. Overall, no regrets with the purchase.

Easy to use. Very intuitive, better than comparable models by other makers. Allows me to use all my phone functions without having to touch my phone, including GPS. Screen is great for GPS and Back-Up camera. Worth the price!

Full-featured car stereo that brought our older Explorer up to date. The CarPlay and Bluetooth features are so nice to finally have. This one also has capabilities we aren't using (like being able to work with backup cameras).

Great sound, easy set up, great screen. Head unit is very easy to use and intuitive. Easily connect any Android or iPhone. Went on a road trip and used the DJ feature. 4 people connected play music was awesome!!!

Pros: great sound, easy installation, great features including Bluetooth, front and rear camera input, auxiliary inputs and Apple CarPlay. Cons: Navigating the dashboard could be more simple, Expensive, sound control options are a bit complex.

This stereo is great. Love the Apple car play. It works flawlessly. Android auto has issues at times where it crashes and has to reload. Sound quality is good as is the video quality.

Works great. Ability to use apply play or android auto while driving definitely enhances the experience. Responsive to touch, pairs well with phone. If you've got an older vehicle without modern conveniences this is a no brainer.

Radio is awesome. Love the dvd option. I hooked up a back up camera. Radio also has option for front camera. Works great. DVD requires emergency brake to be engaged to at least first setting Install at BB was great too

My stepdaughter bought one of these earlier for her car. I ended up installing it for her, which wasn't too difficult to do. I was amazed to see how far car stereos have come. By hooking up my phone to the radio via the USB cord, I am able to display navigation on the radio's screen, have messages read to me, and even speak messages, make phone calls, you name it. I quickly ran out and got the same stereo for myself to put in my car. With the hands-free law in effect in our state, this has been a great solution. I would definitely buy this again. In fact, I'm trying to convince my wife to get one for her vehicle.

I'm having trouble finding all the parts i need to have it installed in my 2013 Nissan Pathfinder. Can't find any of the parts on amazon not even a mounting kit. Let alone the harnessing kit and everything else that I need for this specific stereo to work. I need to find all of the components for this stereo so i can everything out of this stereo from the android auto to the streaming and all the other features this unit has. Not to mention this is also getting hooked up to a system as well.

sounds great, lots of features both with and without attached to apple play. Don't like that the microphone isn't built in but is a separate piece that is stuck to your car interior frame, People have issues hearing me when we're talking. can't use my phone function on my steering wheel for hands free like i had with OEM system, so it's not really totally hands free. It will do for now.

Great replacement for my stock head unit. In use Apple Car Play and It works flawlessly and makes my drive much safer. The set up and install was easy and customization is great.

I bought this to upgrade my 6-year old Pioneer system to CarPlay. It was compatible with my existing sound system (which I had upgraded to Alpine Type Rs and a compact Kicker sub) and has a clean user interface. Probably personal preference, but I liked my Pioneer interface better. It was easier to switch between inputs, the display had 6 stations at a time (instead of 4), and it didn't look as kitschy as an aftermarket radio did. Otherwise the interface is solid and I haven't had an issue with it.

I would of given a 5 star rating but, the radio would turn off when you press your ONSTAR button and come back on when you end ONSTAR. No one knew that the radio was supposed to do that, not even techs. at JVC/KENTWOOD. I wasted so much time with appointments with Best Buy installers trying to figure out if it’s the radio or the wiring. I found out through PAC, which is the company that makes the wiring harness, said that was normal with most all aftermarket radios. But other than that I love this radio it works and sounds awesome!

My only complaint is that here is no USB port on the front of the unit itself. Of course, I understand why: they really wanted a minimalist presentation, and they achieved it. I'll be adding an aftermarket USB port on my dash soon to clean that up. If you'd like to do the same, search Amazon for "PAC USB-DMA Dash-Mount Adaptor for USB Accessories ". It's only $13 and appears to be a simple and easy installation (planned for this weekend). Otherwise, this is a nice head unit with far superior sound over the factory radio, even with the factory speakers.

Had this unit over a year and a half now no problems works fine. Love the front camera view.

This radio has a combination radio, dvd and backup camera. The service team did a great job installing it as well

so far after having this radio for about 2 weeks i am enjoying the features and ease of use. the only negative i have to mention is the backup camera display. my stock radio was crystal clear day and night. with this radio the picture can get distorted depending on how the sun is hitting the camera and hard to see. after figuring out how to adjust the picture settings it is a bit better but not by much.

its nice, the blue tooth doesn't work with phone GPS, The screen is so bright at night seriously, id suggest not buying it, the dimmer only works about 20% when you turn lights on, there is no dial option to lower it at all. I'm having to actually tint the radio screen because its just crazy bright at night, I've called and they are doing no update for this, its somewhat terrible. Otherwise its great for the price, if you like to drive with a flash light pointed at your face, this is the model for you! It is also difficult to operate on the road, it has a confirm screen every time you start the car, a warning label about the radio use during driving. Its very nice, but its also not well thought out at all.
