Good sound ,but hard to see during daytime. Irritating note every time you start up you have to close. Clock won't work with GPS have to do manual

Cons: the display brightness less than I would expect. Daytime viewing in a standard cab truck not really good enough, though in a four door sedan, it may be adequate... just. Of course it looked fine in the store. Apple CarPlay was the deciding factor for purchase, but 1 out of 5 times it fails to launch. No response from JVC requesting assistance. Tried latest firmware, didn't help. Pros: Sound is good, plenty of volume without distortion for what an average person might consider loud. Radio sensitivity better than stock by a noticeable margin. Nice to have equalizer settings. Hands free phone works a treat. Overall i am neutral on the purchase.

I love apple play and this stereo did it for me. I love using this because it really is so easy

Got this on sale after Thanksgiving. It came with installation. I also picked up the SiriusXM receiver to have installed at the same time. It works as well as any of the factory installed units I've dealt with, but even faster at switching between channels or apps. This was a huge upgrade to the factory stereo in my little old 2003 Ford Escape which did have the premium stereo.

Easy to use and navigate through! Great sound and pairs well with my iPhone!

Not a single issue. Beat it everyday! Only thing that bugs me is the warning you have to close everytime you start car!!!

We were excited to purchase this for our van but thinking maybe it was a little indulgent... did we really need it?? We are so happy that we did! It works well and is very easy to use with our IPhones. Geek squad made this a super easy install by letting me know what parts to get off Amazon to facilitate the install. Two thumbs up from us!

I got this deck to replace my old Pioneer AVIC unit that died on me. I love this unit, the Apple CarPlay feature is very nice. I'm very happy with it, my only complaint would be not having built in GPS but you can use your maps function through Apple CarPlay.

This deck works great! Got for my husbands truck and he absolutely loves it!

I bought this to make basic bluetooth calls but this system is so much more. I really like the fact it can charge two phone at the same time. It also operates with both phones at the same time one plays songs while the other one still gets calls.

Excellent purchase. Bought for my daughter to be installed in my '06 Element and she totally digs it. The Apple car play is fantastic-full access to all music and using Maps is better than our stock nav systems in our other cars.

Very happy with the radio I bought, many options, easy to operate, and was able to get it on sale for $200 less than original price. Best Buy installed in about an hour. Would recommend this product to anyone

Been looking for a good headunit with apple CarPlay and this went on sale with install. It has had a few minor issues with the connection but it may have also been the phone. Overall this is a great unit.

After the install the sound would cut out randomly after about 5 minutes. Best Buy installers did a lot of trouble shooting but could not resolve the problem. I ended up replacing it with a less expensive blue tooth receiver which is working fine. Perhaps the problem was some incompatibility with my older model (2001) vehicle. When it did work, the interface was nice, though I was not that happy with how the Appple Car Play maps displayed.

Very good unit with excellent Bluetooth device, the unit looks very clean without the buttons around the outer face of the unit, the unit has more of a factory look than most other units

Purchased this JVC unit on a Deal of the Day sale and it included installation!! It is awesome! The installation technician did a very clean and neat installation and explained some of the features of the unit to me. There are a ton of features and they all work very well - I am going to keep my vehicle for a few more years now that it has this upgrade in it!! Best Buy employee's were very good about making sure they had all the necessary connection hardware and very knowledgeable about function of system. I am extremely happy with my purchase!!
