    Better than the original speakers

I was looking for a replacement speaker with high sensitivity (more sound output with less input power) for an older automotive car stereo. These speakers were on sale and the specifications met my requirements. The multiple drivers sound much better than the original factory speakers which had paper whizzer cones. Double check your vehicle cutout size to make sure they will fit. My cutouts were slightly larger and made them a bit more difficult to mount and seal.

Bought 4 JVC CSV528 speakers for $57.98 before tax. Day and Night difference from my stock speakers in my 96 Cherokee. Also purchased JVC receiver(KDR330) for $39.99. Was well overdue for stereo upgrades, had to hook up my Jeep with a better sound system, it's been thooking me up with 217K reliable miles!

Great sound for the price. Used in convertible, not bad.

Sounded good, but blew too soon.

While these speakers sounded good for several months, (maybe a bit midrangey, but ok for the size) one speaker blew out after 9 months. No reason for it as deck is outputting far less than standard power limits on the speaker.
