    Perfect for Work!

I was excited to get my hands on a pair of the JVC HA-A30T True Wireless Earbuds. I’ve been using a few other products for work and at home, but I seem to have trouble finding a comfortable pair that will last and won’t cost an arm and a leg. I took these JVC’s to work and planned on using them for music and video conferencing. Getting setup on a laptop was easy enough and only took a few minutes. The sound quality on music is good an about what you’d expect at the price point. Audio is clear, mids and highs aren’t muddy, and bass is a little lackluster. No real surprises, but when you want a solid and reasonably priced pair of wireless earbuds, that’s not a bad thing! I did notice one strange mistake – for some reason when you adjust the latency modes the unit very clearly says “low ratency” instead of “low latency”. I’m not sure if that’s a regional language mistake but it seems like an odd thing to get by QC. The ear buds are small and light weight. JVC claims they can get around 21 hours with the included charging case and I can’t complain. I easily get through and entire workday, drop them in the case and use them again the next day. I can usually get through about a week without having to charge the case, but keep in mind I don’t have them running for a full 8-hour shift. Your mileage may vary . All in all, exactly what I was looking for in a pair of work earbuds.

I developed a problem with my audiophile class earbuds, but was able to have them serviced. In the mean time I only needed a replacement set for week or so, so I searched for a low to Mod-price model. These JVC buds are more than adequate. Easy connectivity, although they do drop out on occasion, and solid battery life for t he buds and the charger. Sounds quality is better than expected. Can be a bit weak at higher frequencies, sort of tinny, not very discreet, but the bass was solid and overall they sound like a lot of $100 mid range models. Not premium but not throw away a either. I would highly recommend these for pod casts, news and audiobooks, or as a quick stand in for music when needed.

Sound good, but I can only get one ear bud to work at a time? It’s ok for walking so I can keep an ear out for traffic. However, they should both be able to pair at the same time!

Reasonably priced, appropriate for pre-teen. Sound quality and connectivity are subpar compared to other brands.

They're not worth the price point. It would take forever for them to connect to my phone sometimes I couldn't even get them to work.

Right earbud stopped working after 4 months. Earbuds would go out of sync very often. I regret the purchase.

For whatever reason, earbuds don't stay in my ears very well, but the A30T had no problem staying put for hours. I found them very comfortable, even using them all day. Speaking of, battery life was quite impressive as I was able to get more than 12 hours before getting a low battery warning. After that, drop them in the recharging case and they're ready for use the next day. Audio quality is average, neither good nor bad. It does have a bass boost equalizer setting ( the other is flat response ), but as with any earbud, the sound and bass is determined more how well it seals in your ear than anything else. JVC claims this is a low-latency bud, and that sorta holds true. Other true wireless products I've tried in the past had horrible lag ( one bud receives the signals from your phone or computer then has to relay and sync those signals to the other bud ). Watching videos is a no go since everything you hear is half a second behind what you're seeing on screen. The A30T doesn't entirely remove the lag, but it cuts it back considerably. There's still noticeable lag, but it's a fraction what I've seen from others. The interface is fine, the buds have touch sensitive surfaces right under the JVC logo. It's typical of what you'd see in other earbuds, though controls are backwards what I've seen from most others ( play/pause is on the left, not the right, but it's no big deal ). You get voice prompt feedback instead of just beeps and tones, so it's a lot easier to learn which tap sequence does what. On the downside, these have very poor range. As long as you stay in direct line of sight, it's fine, but go into the next room or get any kind of wall or obstacle between the buds and the source device and the audio will drop out. I guess the long battery life comes from using a very low power Bluetooth radio. Also, the noise canceling mode on these isn't very good. It will block out a little background noise like your AC fan at home or distant traffic on the street, but does little to block out any stronger noise. Still, at this price they're a perfectly decent option. If you're worried about long battery over fancier features, you might want to try them out.

Beautiful thing about the JVC True Wireless In-Ear Active Noise Canceling Low Latency Headphones is that they fit so nicely in my ear. No amount of movement or sweat had them budge a bit and no pain in my ear. Great work on the comfort. Sound, though, is pretty average. You don't have an app (a big plus) to tweak any sound settings so you're left up to your phone's ability to equalize. The instructions don't include it, but you can switch from "Bass" to "Flat" mode by long pressing (about 1s) on the left bud. It'll beep and then state the mode it's in. The bass does bump up the bass but it seems to make some vocals a bit muddy. Flat works better in my opinion. The volume doesn't get as loud as I'd like but at least noise cancelling works to keep some of the ambient sound out. The noise cancelling works, but it doesn't seem to do so well with random sounds. It works best with steady buzzing background noise. It doesn't completely drown it, but reduces the noise. It helps, but it's not the best noise cancelling I've used. Battery life is supposed to be up to 9hrs if you turn off all the extras. I haven't had to test it yet for that long, but it did last for four hours without a sweat. The low latency didn't work so much for. I can't say if it's the buds or my phone and computer. I watched a video and there was just a tick of latency that I noticed. Gaming on my Windows PC showed so much that it was unusable for gaming or video. So the phone was better, but still noticeable. One plus is that you can use just one bud independently of the other if you didn't want to plug in both. For the price it's a great set of buds and offers awesome features without putting a big dent in your wallet.
