The popcorn was chewy. I thought it was the popcorn itself, but I popped multiple bags of popcorn not using this machine and the popcorn tasted great. I returned this item. I would not recommend to a friend.

It flung seeds everywhere on the floor,counter and in the bowl it popped the kernels but still so many unpopped kernels. I made sure i bought the best popcorn on the shelve so it was due to cheap old kernels. The popped popcorn was very dry and tasteless, youd have to add a lot of flavoring for it to be good. I have never tried it again. I was gonna return but it wasnt worth going back 20 miles to the store and waiting another half an hour in line to return it..
