It does that fine and a whole lot more. We have stored away our deep fryer and a few more cooking devices because this model does so much and takes up less counter space. If you like your chicken crispy, this baby gets it done.

Used it a few times but in less than a few weeks, it just turned itself off in the middle of cooking. Just dead as a door nail... KALORIK wasn't really willing to do anything about it but best buy offered a gift certificate and we purchased a similar type but not the same brand.

I've always been Skeptical of air fryers but but this one and the grill attached is amazing it's amazing since I've had it I rarely use my stove anymore.
