Got this on the Deals of The Day....turned out that this is a nice slicer...I have sliced bread with it and semi frozen meat to make beef jerky. I really like how it comes apart so you can clean it...the platforms come off and the blade. I will be using it more for cheese and slicing meats and pepperoni. I am glad I bought it...the overall size it just right...about 14” long and 8“ wide..

This is my first slicer. Easy to assemble and clean. Blade has a twist lock for removing and cleaning. It cuts well and can cut meat pretty thin. It's not as fast or powerful as more expensive slicers I've seen, but for the price, it's good.

Cleanup relatively easy. Good option for its price point (on sale). Chilled cheese or meat makes the process easier. Almost can get a shaved thinness

I had an older model of another brand that looked almost identical to this one -- except this one is better in two key areas. The slice thickness adjustment is an easy to see and easy to adjust dial on one side, instead of a lever on the back of the machine. Even better is a simplified design that makes it much easier to clean. The blade pops out with a quarter turn of the flip out attachment cog and the sliding tray is removable. There also are fewer little nooks and crannies behind the blade for the food to get trapped in so cleanup is fast and easy.. Nice solid construction, mostly metal with some plastic. Heavy duty but super-sharp blade so be careful when cleaning. If you can get it on sale, it's well worth the money. A nice little machine

Wish there were more than five stars for this one. I slice all types of meat with this. Chicken breasts for chicken Marsala or Picante. Beef roasts, creating thin beef slices for Philly sandwiches, steaks from a roast, steak fingers. Really helps stretching the budget.

This slicer works great for veggies, cheese and deli meats. As stated in previous reviews, it is not commercial grade, but wonderful for at home use. Easy enough to clean and worth the investment.

Easy to use and cuts well. Clean up is always a chore with any machine like this. The only negatives are that the backplate will flex when pushing hard, and the suction cups for the feet don't do anything. So I have to use my right hand to hold the slicer down so it doesn't slide around while my left hand does the pushing. It's a bit awkward but it works.

This slicer is well made, sturdy and easily cuts meat and bread. The sliding shelf moves flawlessly and it doesn't move around the counter when pressing hard on meat or bread for a nice clean small slice. We had a previous slicer that worked OK, but it failed on the things I just mentioned. We are so happy with this product!

This is a pretty good slicer for the $$$. Got it on sale $50 off. The design is good and allows for easy cleaning, disassembly, and reassembly after washing. The blade spins moth more torque than speed, which seems to work fine. I have cut a few roasts on it and was able to adjust the thickness of the slices from fat to thin without issue. It is worth having.

It slices meat like a boss. I wish it was a little wider though. It's mostly easy to clean and it has chopped through my meat well.

It does a good job for home use. You won’t be able to get the really thin slices that you get at the deli. This machine is for home use and not commercial grade.
