Great TV mount, it is compact but very sturdy when mounted to studs as instructed. Arm swing allows adjustments to view in the office setting as well as the guest room setting (Murphy bed setup).

I used this mount on a 40 inch Insignia tv. It was super easy to install. I only needed a drill socket wrench and a level. It's a great space saver. We were able to fold it flush against the wall when not in use.

Installed into a wood stud. While tightening mount to be flush with the drywall, the bottom bolt broke in two. Luckily there are 4 bolts included and an alternative mounting hole was in line with the stud, so I was able to secure it that way. I was tightening slowly by hand with a ratchet after pre-drilling with recommended bit size. Must be some tough old studs. Mount works great otherwise.

Not suitable for 2007 42 inch Flat Screen

At 78 pounds, the flat screen I was given was heavier than the tech was comfortable hanging on this mount rated for up to 80 pounds. I guess most larger TV's today are 25-35 pounds. Arms were too short to mount my Phillips TV, though I gave the model and specs when I ordered the mount. The second arm is not as long as the first two so you cannot retract and center your TV over the wall mount bracket. TV still on the floor.

Seemed like good quality construction and materials for what i needed it to do. Sturdy. Solid metal. Plastic cable covers. Could literally fit ANY tv with the screws provided and the mounting plates. One MASSIVE drawback. The actual 3/16 screws that you’re supposed to drill into the wall, yeah theyre GARBAGE quality. I pre-drilled the holes because this isnt my first rodeo. And guess what. When ratcheting them in with a 12mm (as per instructions) they snapped. And sheered off. INTO MY WALL AND STUD! Ive never been so upset.

Wall anchors way too big for screws provided. Have 4 holes in wall because they can't provide correct equipment.

I bought this for my in-laws. They wanted a mount that would not only tilt, so they could view comfortably, but also wanted to be able to swivel it in the direction they wanted. This mount does all that. My mother in law was concerned about it being bulky on the wall but when not in use it sits around under an inch (double check demintions in specs portion of the details) but sits very close to wall and flat against wall when not in use so she, being my mother in law, was happy with the results and how it hung on the wall. Nice mount and for the size, it holds up to a pretty large tv if u choose.

So many extra parts!

When I first opened the box, I freaked out at how many parts there were, thinking I was going to have to use every one of them, but once I looked through the instructions (mostly photos, but there is an easy-to-follow video online), I realized I would only need a few of them.
This item is HEAVY, but it is simple to install. I’m a short female who suffers from severe rheumatoid arthritis, so I have limited abilities when it comes to strength and effort. With just a little help in holding the mount up while I quickly stuck a bolt in the top hole which I had pre-drilled (This is VERY important!), I had this installed in under 30 minutes, and I was having to lean over a desk to reach the wall! Attaching the TV onto the mount took mere seconds, it was so easy. It also has a cardboard key for drilling the holes in exactly the right place to match the mounts, so there is no guess work involved.
Be careful not to lay your TV face down, as you may crack it from the pressure of attaching the mount plate. I used my TV box, placed upon my desk and up against the wall, and stood the TV up against the box, which had enough give to prevent cracking the TV.
Don’t be alarmed at the amount of parts you will have left over, they are for other types and sizes of TV’s, so put them in your tool box to use for some project or repair you might have in your home in the future!
My 32” TV did not require the extended “wings” in order to be mounted. I was able to use only the plate; my TV didn’t have holes for the wings anyway.
This is a good product that comes with an instruction booklet, cardboard key (with a fold-out pocket to catch the drilling mess!), list of additional tools or items needed, an online video link, and multiple screws, anchors, small wrenches...everything you need for a variety of sizes of TV’s. There are plastic accessories that appear to be ornamental, at first, but they are actually guides and covers to keep your cables from getting caught in the gears, or just to hide them from view.
I can extend the TV out from the wall, swivel it from side to side, and even tilt it down to get better visibility at my desk.
I found this item met my needs entirely. I can highly recommend this product!

I bought this to use for a 32" TV (in a bedroom) when we wanted to move the TV off a cabinet. It looks much better wall mounted. The wall mount unit was reasonably easy to install (after finding stud) and easy to attach the TV. It takes a bit of work to get everything right. The instructions were good in getting it done right. One very nice feature is the side to side motion, so that no matter where the wall stud is, the TV can be moved to where you want it, and tilt can be adjusted. Got it on sale pre-Christmas for a great price. It's almost overkill for my 32" TV, and will handle larger sizes well.

Sturdy and Flexible

About as sturdy as it gets, and extremely flexible positioning. Fully flat, it's about 2-3 inches off the wall, so not as streamlined as a simple mount, but that's what it takes for the ability to swivel such a wide swath. Get a stud finder and stud-mount it, though. they provide masonry anchors, but for a normal drywall installation, find the stud. That said, it may mean your have to forego symmetry because the stud is left or right of your centerpoint.
The instructions are not as clear as I'd like, but there's an online video on the company's site that makes things clearer. Also, make sure you have long cables. Otherwise you'll clothesline the TV if you try to swing it out fully from the wall. To be able to keep cables hidden within the provided channel covers, I would need at least 10 ft to allow for full extension without tugging things loose. If you've installed a power outlet and cable connections in the wall behind the TV, you'll need less, but without a dedicated wall connection right at the TV, go long.
I bought this because I'll use the display as both a TV and a computer monitor, and it will be in different positions for each task. If I didn't need the reach, a basic mount would have been fine.

Great No Nonsense Mount for TV's up to 55"

I've mounted probably a dozen TV's in the past ten years and this mount from Kanto stands out as one that is a breeze to set up.
Due to how rooms tend to have weird viewing angles and mount positioning I think full-motion mounts have the best chance of getting the panel exactly where the viewers will want it. As such, this Kanto has the usual tilt and pivot adjustments as well as a good drop in mechanism to connect the VESA mounted TV to the arm. On that note, the plate attached to the wall mount has two permanent screws so all you have to do is reattach two 10mm nuts once the TV portion is slotted in.
If I were to gripe about one aspect of this unit it is the bar mounting the entire thing to your room. They provide 4 longbolts for stud mounting as well as a kit for concrete mounting. That said the metal plate has 7 mounting holes so if you are like me and wanting to be sure to not have your job showcased on TikTok fails you will want to mount it in as many secure places as you can with all the weight centered in such a small area.
Besides that this mount is a great buy and I have no trouble recommending it. It can fit virtually any VESA standard from 100x100 all the way up to 400x400.

We have studs that aren’t the typically spacing in our house so this was perfect for that. It’s currently holding a 30” tv but we also got one for a 50”. It was easy to put up and it holding up well. It’s movable so it can be adjusted to see the tv from different areas of the room. Definitely recommended!

On my screened porch I was in need of a wall mount that could articulate for two different views. We have a two seat seating area that we watch most of the time. The TV is flat against the wall. But, occasionally one of us may want to lie down on the couch to watch TV. The couch is 90 degrees from the two seat area. We can now swing the 50 inch TV 90 degrees to face the couch. Best of all, I created an attachment to the mount that has the sound bar above the TV which allows the sound bar to move with the TV. Just two aluminum straps that are screwed between the mount and the TV with the mount bolts. Then the sound bar wall hanger screwed to the straps above the TV. Very cool and it cost $11 for the straps. The TV is about 40 lbs and the sound bar is another 10. The TV is level against the wall or out 90 degrees. I mounted the surge protector and Direct TV mini box next to the mount wall attachment points and ran the cables in the mount channels. The only exposed wires are the power cable from the wall outlet to the surge protector. NO WIRES!!! This is the best mount I have of 5 in the house.

It was easy to assemble. It is easy to adjust. It holds my 55 inch LED TV very well and folds flat to the wall when not tilted or turned. Since my tv had to be mounted sort of high to clear a dresser, I adjusted the tilt to slightly lean towards the couch.

This is the 3rd or 4th one of these wall mounts that I have purchased. They are simple to install and swivel and rotate nicely. The price point is great and really no reason to buy anything more expensive.
