I've used this product before then went to others and gotten viruses. Went back to this product with no viruses since. I like the easy to use features and like that it updates automatically even you turn on the computer. It takes a while to scan, but I usually don't have my computer on everyday or scan everyday. If I did, I'm sure the scan would go faster. I also like the different scan choices.

Decent product for being free when I bought the laptop. It was intially installed by geek squad since they set the computer up. Compared to other popular anti-virus programs, I feel that it's 2nd to them (Nortons). Overall it's good for its use, but it tends to update quite frequently. I've received numerouse emails stating to update my software, this may also be caused by Best Buy setting the system up. Overall i'm satisfied, but will probably switch in the future.

This is the best by far has been the best anti-virus software ever. I've been using it for 3 months no issues at all. When I got my computer this came free for 6 months, So, I installed Kaspersky and it runs in the background, doesn't slow computer down at all. Best ever! Go ahead and check other reviews online, they are very good.

It was fine and not giving me much of a problem but then when i started running full computer scan it started crashing my computer (Blue screen). i had to reinstall my computer to factory settings and when i try to install the Kaspersky, it didn't let me upgrade it. Now im coming back to Norton. Was VERY Disappointed

Nice product. Easy to install. Updates regularly. It was odd to have Best Buy sell me this product when Norton was already installed on the machine. That created a couple of glitches at the outset. I'm happy with the product so far. I hope I'm always happy with it, since the alternatives are not so good.

I don't know much about this product and until I bought my new laptop I had never heard of it. It is very difficult to use and seems to be updating constantly. I had planned to use it for the year I was given but after reading some of the other reviews I am going to take it off and install the free Symantec I get through work.

When I bought a new computer it came with it for a year free. Now I am sometimes wishing that I would have just bought another anti-virus product. I can use the computer while a scan is running in the background, if I don't mind the excessive slowing down. Its slows so much at times, while trying to load some pages on the internet, I think I am back on dial-up. (I never had this issue even when I used Norton). The product is very easy to use. It is easy to set up automatic scans and to fix issues that arise on the computer. Geek Squad downloaded it for me, so I didn't deal with it. I have read so many reviews of this product, a good bit talk about it slowing down the computer. Others have not had an issue with this. It is a free product for me, but not sure I will keep it after a year. Overall though, I would recommend this product to a friend if they are wanting something easy and cheap.

This is the most efficient antivirus that i had and it is ridiculously easy to use. it does a good job and i am really impressed by it! i wished i had this a few years ago when i had trouble with viruses and spyware... I am looking forward into extending the licence ;)

Great anti virus for price. Does everything it promises.

I have used a number of anti-viruses over the years and they all pretty much did the same thing, although some really screwed up your system more than others and some that were fine one year, upon being updated, caused conflicts and problems. So I've been a free anti-virus and/or Linux user on my personal laptop for years. So on getting a new laptop, I had the choice of trying an antivirus for a year free, so I thought what the heck I haven't tried Kaspersky yet. It's caught some things that were totally unexpected to me, like malware being served through bad ads, etc. This was on "normal" websites, not on some underbelly excursion. It hasn't messed with anything in a negative way and has caught things and has been really unremarkable, which for software is really good! So overall, so far, I am quite impressed.

I have two complaints about this one. First, as soon as I got the laptop home I tried to run all updates. Kapersky would update but then I kept getting messages saying it was not up to date. There were times I would click to update during this time and no updates were downloaded despite the fact that it said it was not up to date. It took about 2 weeks of working like this before I finally had an up to date product The second issue is that even though this was supposed to be good for a year, I got a message after 1 month saying my subscription had expired. Normally I would try to talk to someone to figure out why it did but because of the other issues I had, I just removed it from my pc and downloaded another anti-virus software.

Whoever knows something about computers and antiviruses knows that Kaspersky is the best of the best. When you have it installed you know you are safe! They have 24/7 customer service and they work 24/7 hard to make updates as soon as some new threat goes out. It was the best since the beginning but before it was slowing down the system really bad. Now they fixed that issue and it doesn't slow down the system anymore. Runs nice and smooth and you know you are safe all the time. If you don't know how to set it up you don't have to worry about that because this antivirus is set up by default so you don't have to change anything. Good and simple. One subscription covers 1-3 computers! I got it for free when I bought Lenovo laptop. I am very happy about that!

Easy installation and Recovery Software which can be very useful if the need ever arose. Software that has found to be one of the very best. Bundled with my laptop purchase which made it even better value.

The best and easiest Anti-virus I have ever used! It is very simple, highly interactive, has a desktop gadget for Windows 7, and VERY good AV protection! I have used a lot of diff AV products over the years...the different incarnations of Symantec / Norton, Avira, AVG,...none of them hold a candle to Kaspersky...the only thing is it is not free! But as long as they keep it up, I will probably be willing to keep up with the yearly subscription. I have had a pretty nasty virus get onto my system before and you can't afford NOT to have a good AV!!!

Easy to install, seems to work, easy to ask for special scans. But I haven' t learned to manage all the popups about "items not resolved" or figure out what to do about them. If I can't find better help files, I'll uninstall and go back to Norton.

I had a choice of a few AV programs to go with the after market package i bought with my laptops. I was advised to get this one and I have been happy about that ever since. I would not trade it for any other (known) AV programs available.

Got the free one-year subscription with purchase of a laptop. It doesn't suck up nearly as many resources as other anti-virus software I've had in the past, it just does its thing quietly in the background while I'm free to browse the web or do whatever I need to. Updates relatively frequently, which can be a little bit annoying, but to have up to date protection it is worth it. Also, the updates are done by just one click and are also processed in the background without really any negative effect on computer performance.

Kaspersky is the easiest virus protection that I have ever used. It is simple to update, and the protection is spectacular. I will never go back to using Norton ever again.

This was supposed to be a year subscription, but after a month, I was prompted to re-new because my month subscription had expired. Now that I see this product review, I see that it was supposed to be for a year.
