Kapersky's anti-virus for Mac installed quickly and easily, and was a breeze to set up. The interface is very Mac-like. The initial scan takes a few hours, so be prepared. It is not invasive like other anti-viral software like Norton, which can make your computer nearly useless. Kapersky does slow things down a bit when apps boot up, and the "spinning beachball of death" shows up more than I like, but it did find and eradicate some malware that was messing with my system right after I installed it. I only wish it told you when it is actively updating itself. I thought the price was reasonable.

I bought the Kaspersky system for my wife's I-Mac 3 mos. ago after reading a glowing review on it and running it by a co-worker who is an ex-PC hardware technician. This software could possible be the best "for the average consumer" anti-virus/internet security software available. It slows down the I-Mac only a bit. Apps like Norton or AVG or horrible compared to Kaspersky. I'm currently testing the new Kaspersky Pure on my Toshiba PC and so far I love it. Not crazy about $90 but will probably invest in it eventually. One con to note: Kaspersky for Mac is good for only (1) Mac while Kaspersky for PC is good for (3) PCs. Wish I'd known that before plucking down almost $50 for the Mac version! Best Buy shipping is awesome....the pkg was delivered within days after my order.

It was very easy to install. I've had no viruses or malware since then. It is a well reviewed product that really preforms. You can't bet the price anywhere.
