Much prettier in person!

There are actually many silver and colored sparkles in the black vinyl like cover. The back portion that attaches to the back of your iPad is a matt type black rubber. It is definitely for the person who appreciates a little "bling"!

Required, but not for the price.

I love that it turns on and off the screen when you close the case and it's beautiful and glittery. It's also made really well and protects my ipad.
