    I am so glad i bought these vents. I have issues with different temps in the house and cannot get to the dampers. I also have an ecobee 3 with remote sensors so I can control each room very precisely. It has worked great so far. I did have some issues with the beta but manual works well. If you have any issue the keen team is extremely helpful and will help you with any issues. I am waiting for them to get back to me about the beta, but in the future they said it will adjust itself every time the heat or ac goes on. I really love the product, its worth every penny.

    The vents were working fine with my Ecobee thermostat for about 2 months. Then, they stopped responding to open/close based on the temperature sensors. A day after that started, the app updated. Then, 2 repeaters went offline and I tried everything--unplugging, hard resets, deleted/add back to app. They would reconnect, then go offline again after about 10 minutes. The vents keep randomly going on/offline. I contacted support (which you only do by email--no phone number), and I all I keep getting are canned responses and links to their troubleshooting articles. The only response that wasn't canned was from someone named Rikki, who just keeps telling me all the vents are reporting. Nothing about the repeaters. Terrible support in this day and age. And one more thing--tried to get the RMA from on the site for returning the vents and it says the form is private. SO it looks like I am stuck with $1600 worth of junk.

    There is nothing smart about this vent. I have not paired it with a thermostat (it pairs only with Nest at this point), so am not sure if that adds any functionality to it. Otherwise, it is just a vent that you can open and close with your phone, nothing else! I bought it because one out of 3 rooms in one of the zones in my house was getting too hot and others too cold and I hoped it could be programmed to close in the room that got too hot while diverting hot air to the cold rooms. No, it won't do that. You can leave the vent open a bit to do that but that is something that you can do on a regular vent as well, why do you need a wi-fi enabled vent? I don't get the point of this vent.

    I didn't purchase my vents here, but I would like to share my experience. I have 4 vents and a bridge. Two of the vents work great. The other two vents have issues. One of them constantly opens and closes, and the other one does not open or close when it should. My issues were escalated to the developers weeks ago, and remain unanswered and unresolved.

    This is a great idea to have, increase the comfort level and will save you money in the long run. You can have it work by itself to even the room temperatures throughout your whole house. Or you can have it turn off airflow to certain rooms that may be only occupied when guests are in town for example - Why would you heat or cool a room if nobody occupies it? Check out their website - I was an early beta tester and am still happy with the product. Product works as described.

    Apparently, there is almost nothing wrong with the product itself, but it relies on its backend software. That software has been broken about 80% of the time during our two years of being a client with them. Support is ok for the installation, but then becomes totally useless. In the end, it looks like we wasted the money unless they miraculously fix their software within the next few days ...

    Bought a bunch of vents from them and all I could say, SAVE your money. Their software is terrible and support is ridiculously slow. The bridge hub is always disconnecting making all my vents and sensors worthless.

    Before Keen Home, the tempature would always fluctuate excessively in my son's room, but now, it really stays at the tempature I want, at whatever time I want it. I see all the bad reviews listed but I just would like to say I personally had a very positive experience.
