Because the app - which you need to access most of the speakers’ features - is unbelievably bad. Like is this 1996 bad. I don’t really attempt to use the app anymore - it can rarely connect w the speakers and just sends me into a rage. Using the remote w the speakers is fine for my purposes, but there’s GOT to be a better solution for $1200!

Don’t be fooled by the size of these speakers, in a small to medium sized living room these speakers are incredible. Kef and their Uni-Q driver have yet to disappoint me. I see a lot of complaints for their app but I didn’t have any issues setting these up. The sound stage is amazing for these little speakers. They just kind of disappear into the room and you forget they’re there. The highs are delightfully lively and easy to listen to. Mids and bass are punchy and clean, and the low end is surprisingly booming. Anyone looking for a nice looking and easy 2 channel set up will not be disappointed with these. It serves as an excellent alternative to a soundbar. Movies, music, and gaming are all immersive and very enjoyable. Build quality and design are absolutely top notch.

Great sound with depth of the sound stage and separation from left and right.

Wish I could figure out how to use the TV remote for sound though... speaker remote could be better as well.
