I bought this—seeing as my Corolla didn’t come with apple CarPlay. I like that I can connect to it wirelessly or wired. Straight forward to use, and I’m glad I got this one.

I have a 2014 Dodge Caravan with low mileage that we use for long trips with a terrible factory stereo. This is an upgrade and makes using the van much more enjoyable. Kept factory speakers and they sound great. Wireless Android Auto was the selling point,and works flawlessly with my Pixel 9 Pro and my wife's is connected as well and easy to switch phones. Sound on Bluetooth is very clean and loud. Super easy to use, menus are fairly intuitive. Works with all factory buttons on the steering wheel, flips to backup camera in reverse. Used Best Buy install service for this and Kenwood backup camera and couldn't be happier with the appearance. Looks as good as factory. ONLY complaint is the screen is a bit too dim on sunny days with a bit of glare and no way to make it brighter but this is a minor annoyance and is rare it is even an issue.

This was a good radio, but it had too many cons, so I had to return it. When turning on, it took anywhere from 20-30 seconds before you could hear the audio. This may not be an issue for most, but it's not what's expected when you start the car. Also, the previous radio would remain on for 10 minutes or until I open the door before it turned off. This would only stay on for 1 minute after the car was turned off. Now imagine listening to your favorite song and the radio turning off, and you turn it back on and have to wait 30 seconds before you can hear anything. The audio settings are overly complicated. While it does have simple built-in settings like rock, pop, blues, etc. When trying to adjust the bass and treble there are more options than I would prefer. This would likely be a bonus for an audiophile. When using Android auto, and switching between Sirius XM, the radio, and the audio on the phone, the display would show XM, while playing one of the other options. The radio offers lots of options, but for me, navigating them was cumbersome.

This is a good entry level radio. I installed this radio in an old Scion with the self powered sub from kenwood. The install was straight forward and all the wiring matched up. The other reviews regarding the screen brightness are true. It is rather dim in full sunlight. Polarized sunglasses make the screen hard to see as well. The deck has plenty of settings for audio fine tuning and the deck has plenty of power to run the internal speakers. Overall, It is a solid radio on sale.

I would have to say overall I am impressed I do truly wish the screen would have been bigger cause u know the older u get the sight starts to go but all in all very pleased

this Kenwood car stereo is a quality Car Stereo with Carplay, gps, and a very bright display. It also works great with idatalink interface for my nissan altima, and also has plenty of room for installation cables in the back. Definitely recommend!

This is a good wireless Apple CarPlay unit with one major pain point! It is sluggish to react. It occasionally looses CarPlay connection but is quick to manually add. Interface is clunky but it really performs well once you have it configured. Geek squad installation was top notch! I also had the Maestro kit installed and I am happy with the interface.

Couple of glitches with this unit, hopefully Abe figured it out for me. I haven’t had much opportunity to use it much since my last appointment. would I recommend this item? I’m not sure yet. I have to try it out some more. Should be a? Option there.

I put this radio in my 2013 truck, and it made the stock speakers sound better. I love the wireless CarPlay and touchscreen. No lag between taps and song changes.

Perfect stereo for what I need in my truck. I bought a 2013 Ford F150, but unfortunately it did not have Apple CarPlay, which I need. This Kenwood is perfect and performs flawlessly would recommend.

This purchase was for my daughter's 2013 Beetle. Eric did a fantastic job installing the system, and it works perfectly. I would buy it again. I was worried it wouldn't sit flush, but it did!

Radio meets all Expectations has apple and android for flawless phone hookup, is xm/ sirrious capable, backup camera. All around great radio. And the service of tech that installed it in my jeep radio looks factory installed and tech went thru all capabilities and functions before I left.

Touch screen is sensitive and very responsive. There is more customization options then anyone would really need. Android auto work flawless and the mic the comes with it is very clear from what people say when I'm driving and taking phone calls.
