I bought this to dry out a (large) flooded basement, carpet and all - a very large job. With the help of some fans, it has dried it out in a matter of weeks to under 40% humidity (for reference, that's lower than the "comfort" setting - VERY dry feeling).
Lots of settings, all that you could want in a dehumidifier. Easy-to-deal-with filter screen. Air is sucked in the front and blown out of one side, if that matters to you.
Connecting the hose for continuous use is a bit difficult, as the connection (included) is in a hard spot. (Instructions on this
feature stink.) Your hose connects out the back, and the connector is pushed onto a small plastic tube in a hard-to-reach spot. And the connection is prone to popping off if you happen to trip over or otherwise pull on your hose. Finally, the hole that drips into the collection bucket must be plugged (zero instructions about this). There is a piece of rubber provided, attached to the back, that may or may not be the plug, but it isn't tight. I had to MacGyver it with some chewing gum to make it stay in place. Without plugging that drain hole, it will shut itself off when the collection bucket gets full, making continuous use impossible. But now that that problem is solved, the dehumidifier works great.

Easy setup, steady functioning (at least so far). I find it very helpful to be able to set the desired level of humidity and fan speed - a definite upgrade from my previous dehumidifier! It's a bit on a loud side compared to a smaller GE unit that I use upstairs, but that's not a big deal by itself - depends on where you're planning to put it.

I've had at least 4-5 dehumidifiers over the past 15 yrs, from Soleus, GE, Whirlpool, Frigidaire, and Honeywell, all worked OK for only about 2 years. Honeywell's warantee was great, they honored the unit and replaced failed units twice, For that, I give them high marks but for the product itself, I can't.
So I tried Keystone. I can't comment on longevity (which is my major concern), but I can say that this unit works MUCH more efficiently. It cycles on/off less often, runs for shorter periods of time and brought the humidity down much more quickly. So far, I'm a fan, I hope it lasts.

This dehumidifier is in my basement and works wonderfully. I’m noticed a difference within 12 hours of starting it. We did not hook up the hose and have subsequently needed to empty the reservoir 3-4 times a day. I will be getting a hose!

Bare bones basic dehumidifier that works fine at a good price. Frankly all of the dehumidifiers I have purchased in the last 5 years always break after year 1 so I always buy the extended protection plan. Not sure why. So far so good with this one though.

This is my second Keystone dehumidifier. It lasted for years. Very easy to clean out the filter and very easy to dump water.

The air system at work has never functioned properly. My room is always more humid, so bad that you can see it sometimes. I bought this thing and stuck it in the room. Totally solved my problem. Works great.

Powerful but continuous drain useless

I bought Keystone 50 pint dehumidifier model KSTAD504D last week. Easy to unpack and operate, except the continuous drain feature is useless. In order to connect a hose to the back of the unit, the company makes the user install a 5 inch drain hose adaptor (included) through the back of the unit. One installed and connected to the drain hose ( not included) I was able to run the hose down to a condensation pump on the basement floor. This should have permitted trouble free operation without the need to empty the water bucket every day. Unit will not operate without the water bucket drawer in place, but then the bucket fills up and the unit shuts off. This renders the continuous draining feature useless. I have bought cheaper dehumidifiers elsewhere and set them up the same way in the same spot in my basement without any such difficulty. I will be returning this unit. Disappointed.
