for the price I paid it's well worth it because these things hit hard and don't sound all distorted like cheaper brands.

Don't be fooled by the RMS, it's loud. Had it installed today. Not in the biggest box but this thing SLAMS. You can't really tell how it will sound in the showroom floor but in a car it is GREAT. Don't get me wrong, the type r is louder and clearer but it's not $50 (got it on sale). I have a 2011 Jeep Wrangler and it vibrates EVERYTHING!!! Have it 10 rms underpowered too. **LOOK AT THE PIC IN BOTTOM RIGHT It's great!!

I bought a dual voice coil 12" Clarion 4/2ohm sub for my son and within a month it was blown. So I was looking for a better alternative at a reasonable price and found this Kicker. It is absolutely fantastic. I had to re-wire the sub amp from 2 ohms to 4ohms but other than that, it sounds great. Deep, crisp, thumping bass. Has held up to his "music" tastes perfectly.

I bought these on BOGO deal.. built a 2.25 cubic foot per speaker ported box these hit low and sound great and are not hard to power with lower quality amps over all I am happy with the subs but I didnt have much luck trying to use them with a ZX750.1 Kicker amp but they sound good with a Boss CX3500D mono block so I will keep using that.

Kicker subs are the original car subs so you know what your getting when you buy one. You just cant go wrong with these for the price.

Bought to replace onevthat was brokrn . Abprotective shield would be a great addition and cost effective.

I love my speakers. They're clear sounding and loud!

not sure if its speaker or amp but gets distorted, the guy in car audio was absolutley no help when I was trying to match up a good sub with good amp

Blew a sub a needed to replace. Inexpensive and hold up well.

Rated at 150 Watts RMS which Kicker products are usually underrated so it can definitely handle more power. Looks much better then the older comps but quality wise has decreased like almost most products out there. Has a somewhat foam looking surround which I'm not a big fan of. A very durable and hard constructed cone though which satisfied me. Rear sticker on the magnet was somewhat cheap and poorly places but not a big deal as it's only a sticker. Overall the sound is decent not solid as some others I've tried. More of a punch other than smooth solid deep sound bass in my opinion. Overall still a decent sub for the price but I would pick other subwoofers in the same price from perhaps Polk or Kenwood and many others.

Have 2 12 4 ohms on monoblock alphasonik amp. was surprised at the punchiness of these woofers.i was thinkin they were gonna suck but really like them. running 1.4 cu feet per chamber. other reviews have complained about not hitting the lows can see that mine doesnt hit real low in a fairly large sealed box but still sounds real good but get this in the manual it calls for like 3+ cu foot a chamber with poly fill for that deeper rolling bass so they expect us to put a 6+ cu foot box with poly fill in our cars if you want the lows.yeah. real good spl. low power demand. not murky but probably are if your under 1.25 cu foot. thats the smallest to run according to the manual. they call it compact enclousure thats not compact by todays standards. if you run 1.4 and up with fill and sealed its clean. for 50 dollars a piece you cant beat that boughten jls fosgates pbs pioneers never kicker but these impressed me for fifty bucks. Do not go out of design paramters and expect it to sound good tho.

I just bought these kickers on sale Buy One Get One Free and I am so happy I got them! I have a small 91 MX6 and have them hooked up to a 500watt amp and these subs make the whole car rumble. Great price even without the sale and very good quality. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who is trying to make their system sound good.

Bought these a year ago and still work great. Got the buy one get one free deal and 4 year warranty. Have them in a ported box and running them in sync with an MTX Thunder 300XD amp which peaks at 600 watts and rms is 300. These paired with the amp hit very hard. My amp came with a remote and when it is turned all the way up everything shakes, can even feel my hair vibrate. Work great with all kinds of music. No problems yet. Great buy for my first subs and really worth the money.

i just got these today on sale buy one get one free i flipped out i didnt expect that great of a price and deal fit right into my existing box only problem i had and it wasnt even a problem was trying to get the screws that hold the sub to the box to fit right the hole is just the right size but if you dont get the screw in straight itll hit the side of the hole and i didnt want to put any scratches in it so be careful other then that great sound and they dont really need to be broken in still be safe for about the first ten hours they pre test them at the factory to ensure quality so they do have play time on them i set my head unit to volume 5 and my amp on half bass boost and they were bumping even at that low volume great deal plus comes with awesome kicker stickers for your windows

You cant beat this price for 2 quality subs. $100 for two is an awesome deal, and the subs are great. I have them hooked up in my '99 Tahoe with a 1000w kicker amp, and they really pound. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking to spend a reasonable amount for great bass.

This is just the best $49.00 spent on the new system. Followed the breaking period instructions and then cranked it up with Sony XPLOd 800 and 1 adjustment and its flat ROCKS in a small unvented box. Did not use the box that was included with the sale as free item because I did not want to be heard a block a way. Its was just installed for the bass to be heard in the truck at full range with mids and lows. Installed the KICKER between a set of 6x9's and a pair of 4x6's Sony XPLODS in the doors on of my Sierra. My wife thinks I'm crazy for that much sound in the back seat area but she was a grooving on the last trip down the FWY and did not complain of the loudness because it is so clear and crisp.

I was lucky enough to pick up two 12"s for about $100 (buy one get one) and get a set of kicker earbuds as well. The subs work great! I have a 500WATT RMS Kenwood amp, running the subs in parallel @ 2 OHMs. Lows are good, some mids there, but not many. Only thing im missing from my sound system now are really nice mids, my highs and lows are perfect though!

these subs are holding one to a 1200 watts 1 channel pioneer amp and they are making the car shake like creazy and to do that and only pay 99 dallors for it its totaly worth it

These kickers are well worth the low price you pay. The are deep and clean on the lows and highs.they really hit and make my car sound better than the subs I replaced. I use a Sony 600 watt amp and a mid size box, I have 2 hooked up. Don't listen to the bad reviews.trust me they either have a bad set or amp is weak...buy and u will love 100%

I bought these when they were buy one get one free, and even though at the time I only wanted one sub, I'm glad I got two. I had a monster box built, 41" by 12" by 13". Its a sealed box divided into two, so each driver has a space. The amp is an 1100watt max 250watt rms Boss amp, and powers the subs quite well in my opinion. The only bad thing about these subs is they don't quite hit the low low bass. Maybe that would be fixed if I ported the box, but it sounds good with every other bass so I'm ok with it. Overall these are good beginner subs, they shake all the mirrors in my Bronco and I get looks from people next to me at stoplights when I've got the bass up. For the price I don't think there is anything better.
