this subwoofer will handle all the power you can put on it and it performs well in any enclosure you build for it

i was very hesitant to get this sub b/c of the name and price, but the person at best buy talked me into getting this particular sub. i was replacing a polk 12" sub and i have been a polk and rockford fosgate person forever thinking that nobody's was going to be as good...boy howdy was i incorrect!! this kicker sub rocks pretty hard!! 800 RMS!! unbelievable! there's not too many choices out there within this price range that handles that much RMS! i am pushing this kicker sub with a rockford fosgate 500 watt mono amp that has an RMS of approx 682!! i love this sub!! i am considering upgrading my amp to a 750 RMS rockford to see what may happen!! if youre on the fence, hop off and get this woofer!

I am very pleased with my purchase, these subs sound great! I purchased two for an enclosure I had older subs in & wow what a difference, the bass they produce is outstanding & very clean! I would buy these subs again in a heart beat!

The speakers is doing what i want it to do bass wise it hit hard and i love it.i would recommend any kicker kick that bass to anybody very very good product.

I've been in car audio since I was a kid. I've blown up , burnt up,and froze just about everything out there. And I have to say that kicker subwoofers are some of the most resilient and time tested and speakers I've owned. I have 3 compR 12"s wired series parallel to roughly 6,000 watts. Not that it needs that much power. But. Well. I like to abuse speakers. When I turn those woofers up. My mirrors rattled. Car alarms went off. And at 80 percent. ..... my back window shattered. (Advice: keep Windows down a bit when your making your head into a brain slushie with these speakers to keep from costly window repair) I paused these against mtx Jack hammer. Alpine typeR . Rockford fosgate. Audio bahn. And jl w7. Kicker whipped all but the w7. But it didn't lose by much against the $700 w7. My advice. Get the kickers and kicker box. You'll be glad you did. But you're nEighbors won t. Happy bassquakes. -BEAR

This sub hands down is a winner for the price. I have four of them on two kicker zx1000.1's and the bass is phenomenal.

I purchased this sub as a replacement for my sub that blew out. I was very skeptical about it because my precious sub was a competition one. This kicker did not disappoint. It sounds amazing. I just wish it came with a grill cover.

Very pleased with the sound that this thing kicks out. After it broke in the bass was very smooth, and punchy. Would love to have two of these things in a dual sub box.

I put it in the box I bought at Best Buy and in my car in no time. It has great bass and I plan on buying a second one soon!

My son has the set and he loves them of how they sound. The bass is clear and they are reliable. My son and I recommend for those who want to hear a great bass sound

This is a great sub with a lot of oomf for the price although I would recommend getting the 2 12" comp r subs in the comp r box. Along with the higher wattage kicker amp. Probably going to need a capacitor too.

Have purchased two of these in the past and great subwoofers. Can take plenty of power and hit very hard. Nice clean bass. Highly recommend.

Not as loud as I want because my 760 max pioneer shorts it from 500rpm so I would need a bigger amp to be fully satisfied. But good sound in the trunk with a ported box

Just like my summary says. Great quality, awesome sound. Good solid bass. Haven't had much luck subs lately. Very durable

I like it a lot, pumps bass, makes system enhanced not reallly making it crazy good. I run a 2400 hifonics on these and I haven't really been able to pump them too hard bc my lights dim, definitely a lot of watts but overall good speaker, whatever they say about a closed enclosure is not true, the ported sounds much better for that hard hitting bass with these subs, make sure the box is divided in the center almost like there are two differnt boxes

The sub is excellent i purchased one 10 inch kicker originally and it didnt have the sound I was looking for so i purchased this 12 inch kicker comp R and it was what i was expecting nice clear smooth lows that surely gets people attention if they had a 12 inch alpine type R i probably would have went with that but all in all it is a good product for what you pay for
