Due to a car accident which totaled my original installation vehicle, I lost my remote and had to buy a new one. I ordered one from Best Buy and actually received I 4 days sooner than was predicted. Once received I immediately paired it to my KXA1200.1 amp. It is a simple process. Simply press the bluetooth pairing recessed button above the protection light on your amp and then press the recessed bluetooth pairing button on the back of the remote. Both lights will start blinking and once the remote level light hits the second mark it is paired. Simply press down on the knob until it clicks and you are set. I give this 5 star rating with one caveat which is that for some reason my remote came with an almost dead battery which meant the remote lost pairing a couple of days later and would not pair again. At first I thought it was an amp antenna remote issue but then I noticed that the remote no longer lit up at all when turning the knob which clued me in that it was a battery issue. Once I replaced the battery (about $4) it immediately paired up when I paired it again and it has not given any issues since. It's a great product with easy pairing which is why I still gave it 5 stars. The battery is a separate issue.

You can't go wrong with this Bluetooth remote for your KXA2400.1 or KXA1600.1 or KXA1200.1. Awesome design, easy to use and pair and definitely a must when you're wanting a flawless setup provided by kicker!!!
