A classic tale of revenge

This is the second half of Quinton Taranto's "pulp fiction" masterpiece of revenge.
The movie is pulp fiction purposely in its superficial characters and clichéd story line. However, the execution of those characters and story is so engrossing, so raw in entertainment and excitement that the viewer is riveted continuously. Taranto's genius is his ability to get us to have strong emotional reactions to his characters and situations of story. His dialogue alone is so intriguing, so captivating that one will enjoy the movie on that issue along with the others.
Of course, see both parts one after the other; just lock the doors, turn off the phone, and become immersed. This is Hollywood movie enjoyment at its peak, vastly above the embarrassingly simplistic and boring "tween's" movies pumped out today to the last category of people with money to spend going to the movies. Oh, after you come down a bit from KILL BILL, wait a few days and lock the door again to watch all of Taranto's masterworks

Of the most popular steelbook versions released for the Kill Bill series (1 & 2), the Best Buy version in my opinion is the best release to own for collectible interest. I personally like this release's individual packaging of the two films in separate steelbook cases, as oppose to a single case containing the two movies like the Zavvi version. This version's steelbook art is unique and consistent on both cases, with the samurai sword in the front and Uma Thurman in the back, unlike the Alliance release which I think the art is not at all consistent between the two cases. I purchased both steelbooks on sale for $9.99 even I already own other releases and formats of the two films, so don't hesitate to get this (and Kill Bill 1) if you like the series.

This is a collectible steelbook at a very affordable price. If you haven't seen either of the Kill Bill movies then this steelbook along with Kill Bill Volume 1 will make a worthy addition into your movie library, especially if you remember Black Belt Theater from years ago.
Using the teaser poster art on both of the Kill Bill steelbooks was a good call. It makes both of the steelbooks much more appealing as opposed to their standard Blu-ray counterparts.

The Bride (Uma Thurman) picks up where she left off in volume one with her quest to finish the hit list she has composed of all of the people who have wronged her, including ex-boyfriend Bill (David Carradine), who tried to have her killed four years ago during her wedding to another man. Leaving several dead in her wake, she eventually tracks down Bill in Mexico. Using skills she has learned during her assassin career, she attempts to finish what she set out to do in the first place.
Same as Volume 1. Unsure if the Complete Cut will be released soon or was just a marketing strategy. Worth it for owning both Vol. 1 & 2 together.

It becomes hard to find words to write a review when one is so totally blown away by a movie. For those of you who may doubt Tarantino's abilities as a director, writer, and more importantly as a storyteller, look no further than the Kill Bill series. It wasn't enough that Volume 1 was so incredibly phenomenal, but then he had to make sure Volume 2 not only raised the bar, but surpassed everyone's expectations. Great movie!

So my wife hates this movie. When she was pregnant with her first child her then partner didn't want to take her in to the hospital when she was having back labor until he finished watching one of the two. So almost 13 years later, I finally convinced her to allow it in the house, and I made her buy it. Funny story, but I've now had it for a week and still haven't watched it.

Couldn’t miss out on this great deal for this amazing steelbook! 8 dollars is a steal on top of that both Vol 1 & 2 had the offer. I was able to get this in store but the first film was sold out so I had to order it online and luckily there’s free shipping for all items. It’s a must own for collectors! Especially since Best Buy has most his films in steelbook format.

I can't say no to this movie for $5! I also got the other one. the direction is great, the set design is wonderful, the all star cast, the plot. Yes it's got some violence, some would even say gore but really it's plot driven fighting. Once you get the store you get why she does what she does,. It's like any other action star but just happens to be a female doing it.

Although this wasn't as thrilling or action packed as the first volume, Kill Bill Volume 2 is a must see for any Tarantino fan or lover of Japanese films! Uma Thurman is excellent and it's just so much fun watching her run around and kick butt. Is it realistic? No, of course not...but that's what makes it so enjoyable! As for the Blu-ray disc--it provides a nice, clear image with rich color saturation and no visible imperfections. Grab some popcorn and enjoy...but do make sure to watch Volume 1 first!

My girlfriend and I bought this movie and watched both Volumes back to back. What's cool is that in the main menu it tells you the running time of the movie (this applies to both Volumes) which was PERFECT for us since we ran it on a mini marathon. A great conclusion to an edgey, ambitious story. A must see for any Q. Tarantino fan.

I didn't know about this movie I until my sister told me about it. I must say though it is an awesome movie overall. I love the story, loved the characters, and loved the ending. Somehow I wish there would be more of a continuation since this movie and plot is just so fantastic. Its a pretty old movie, however for its time I would have to say it did quite well.
