This is the best of Hollywood and History blended together to give an all around entertainment experience. Hollywood is at its best in this action movie, while using historical fact to give a down to earth and realistic account of the legendary story. For the action buff there is plenty to see, while getting to understand the dreams, beliefs and actions of the real Arthur that made the legend.

This has to be the best "King Arthur" movie ever made. Fine performances from the entire cast. Plenty of action and a story line that will keep you interested from the start to the finish. Highly recommended.

Perhaps the typical King Arthur was a little a fighter and more diplomate as depicted in the old Hollywood movies. There was of course the "Round Table" with chivalrous knights seated. However that may have been an embellishment dreamed up by romantics. This new King Arthur is more gritty, more violent. In the end, as fairytales go, for those who survived all the fighting, most lived happily ever after.

a different take on an old classic , good historical look of what was more likely to have happened. recommended for any one interested in the time or the Arthurian legend.

I expected sword and sorcery. I was mistaken. This movie is a well thought out and serious take on the legend. I was impressed.
