Great movie but it's really long. I sent it asva gift to a friend of mine that reminds me of a gorilla. He liked it.

Visually this looked ammmmmazing on my 4k Tv. Plus it is a steelbook so can not go wrong with that! Highly recommend!

I really only bought this for the steelbook. Great quality. Still very good movie. The extended edition is long but after they get to the island it becomes fast pace.

I've seen this movie a dozen times in standard definition (DVD). I made the jump to 4k Blu-Ray and this film has never looked better! The nuances of Andy Serkis as Kong really come through as the colors and textures of this release push the look of the film into an arena of verisimilitude. My heart was pounding during the action (the sound is also great) and my eyes were welling up during the emotional moments, even while watching for the upteenth time- this movie and this release are that great. The disc includes the Extended Edition of Kong (definitely on the 4k and I think the regular Blu-Ray) which adds some length to the behemoth runtime but the scenes are mostly action so I'd recommend investing the time if you want more fun visuals. There's tons of bonus material here which was included on the DVD Extended version, I didn't sift through it this time but I remember there was probably 9-12 hours worth of bonus, typical for Peter Jackson releases; for cinephiles who enjoy delving into the extensive detail of film-production.

I liked this one the best even over the new King Kong Movie that came out a few years ago. It stays with the story.

kind of a fun update on king kong yet having those old Hollywood feel if you like em big you love king kong 2005

Peter Jackson has done it again this is a great movie the visuals in it look amazing & King Kong looks awesome to.

I loved this movie when it was on DVD, so when I saw it for sale I knew I had to pick it up. It's a masterpiece.

I like the movie. A bit cheesy at times but nevertheless it's a great film on King Kong. I will admit the back cover looks better than the front of the Steelbook,

This was my first 4K movie. I wanted to experience the jungle and the dinosaurs in 4K! It was worth it. Realistic!

This movie falls into the category of fun action romp. It is heavily digital effects reliant and has ridiculously over-the-top action sequences. However, it is fun.

This movie has always been a favorite of mine. Now with this 4K transfer and DTS:X sound track it is fantastic!

King Kong in 4K looks awesome and sounds great also. Must have for King fans. Comes in a nice steelbook also.

Visual quality is stunning, Jack Black of Tenacious D does a great job! The motion capture work was Oscar worthy!

A very unique movie. I bought this movie for the 4K effect. It was one roller coaster ride to the next.
