Square Enix did a great job on the remaster of Dream Drop Distance. The 2nd game lets you play Aqua as well gives you a taste on the new features that will be in Kingdom Hearts 3. And the Movie was a bit disappointed for it adds in more gap holes in the Kingdom Hearts story.

I have been a fan of Kingdom Hearts for over 11 years now, and I have enjoyed every entry into the franchise to some extent. It's a series that I have a lot of love for, but I do admit that the story can get pretty complicated at times. Thankfully, with Square Enix finally bringing every entry to the PS4 in one form or another, now is a great time for anyone who has wanted to try the series to get into it, though I would recommend waiting for the other two HD collections that are coming in March. Now, as for this collection, it is in my opinion the weakest of the HD collections released thus far. Dream Drop Distance was never my favorite entry in the series, as I feel that the worlds are pretty empty, and the Drop mechanic can get obnoxious at times, but it is pretty solid overall. The movie, X Back Cover, is essential viewing to prepare for Kingdom Hearts 3, and it is pretty good. As for Birth by Sleep 0.2 - A Fragmentary Passage, it's pretty great as well, and a nice look at what Kingdom Hearts 3 will most likely be like. As a whole, I think the collection is a bit much at $60, and I would recommend for a price drop. If you spend $40 or so, I would say that you are getting a pretty good deal. Anyway, definitely recommended for fans of the series, and recommend it to those who plan on picking up the other HD collection in March.

It's a collection of the last kingdom hearts games created, and helps bridge the story gaps left in the convoluted but still ultimately interesting story. It's great to have in your collection if your a fan, but it felt shallow and plain, the only worthwhile game was Dream Drop Distance, so it's worth getting for that game alone if you don't happen to have a Nintendo 3ds

Its all great and it really shows off how awesome kingdom hearts 3 is going to be. My only complaint is the price point. I would say this is worth $40 and not $60 as the aqua story is only 3 hours long. But by all means it is nostalgic as ever! Great buy.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend purchasing Kingdom Hearts 2.8 at $60. Overall the lack of content and how short the game is; I'd recommend waiting for the price to drop to $20-30. Overall, a great port of Kingdom Hearts 3ds and a fun teaser before Kingdom Hearts III is released.

If you have played Dream Drop Distance, then you have already experienced what is really enjoyable in this bundle. The extra content (playable as Aqua) is nothing special and takes under three hours to complete. I did not find the video content, based on the cell phone game, very interesting to watch and ended up washing dishes while it was on.

Kingdom Hearts finally returns to consoles! It's been years since Kingdom Hearts was released on Playstation 2 and we finally have it back on PS4. The game is exciting and amazing just as I remember it. Story, game play, everything is just great.

With KH3 slowly approaching, it's becoming more and more obvious that every entry in this series is vital to the plot, and 2.8 is no exception. Don't be fooled by the brevity of it; 0.2BBS comes with some particularly good plot twists and information, and if you loved the first BBS, you'll love this one. Honestly, 0.2 was the main reason for my hype and is easily my favorite experience of the package. DDD is even more crucial, so if you missed out on the N3DS, now's your chance to catch up -- at a gorgeous 60 FPS, no less. Bottom line: don't write off this game as unimportant! Besides leading directly into KH3's plot, it also gives a good taste of KH3's gameplay and graphics. Or if you're like me and love BBS, this is a good placeholder while we continue to wait for the Wayfinder trio to be saved. :')

Really great if you're looking for any missing pieces to the story's plot. The Dream Drop Distance game isn't the best in quality but definitely worth the play. The movie is definitely worth watching to gain a better background of the plot. The extra item it came with was worth the purchase and had quality to it

If your a kingdom hearts fan like me you will definitely be pleased dream drop distance hd is a remaster of the original 3 ds game and it's good even better than the original and the other game it comes with is birth by sleep a fragmentory passage this is considered a prequel to the final game kingdom hearts III! Though since its a prequel it's a little short but still great cause you get to see what the graphics and gameplay will look like in KY III... Closing review is if you're a kingdom hearts fan you'll love this game while new comers might wanna wait till kh 1 5+2.5 remix to come out to understand the series.

The game itself is really good, but the reason that I don't give it five stars is that if you haven't played any of the other games in the franchise besides Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 then you are going to be moderately lost. This is actually a remaster of Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance that originally came out on the Nintendo 3DS and the game looks amazing and certainly still plays like Kingdom Hearts did on the Playstation 2 and with the HD Remake on the Playstation 4. It does also include a epilogue that leads up to Kingdom Hearts 3, but do not start here though if you want to go ahead and pick it up in addition to Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 then go right ahead just know that this game starts late in the time line and isn't the intended entry point for casual fans. If you already have played a majority of the Kingdom Hearts games then absolutely go right to it and you will have a blast with how good and clean the game play is in this entry in the series and it is fantastic to see how it is on the Playstation 4 as opposed to the Nintendo 3DS.

Kingdom Hearts is a series that I've only heard about but not really played. Why did I wait so long?! Fun game action and Disney characters. Soild gameplay in a JRPG fashion. Plus, Mickey is a badass now

This new Kingdom Hearts collection is great for those that are waiting on Kingdom Hearts 3. With Birth by Sleep 0.2 and Back Cover in this collection, it will leave you with great anticipation until the next game coming soon! The added pin in this limited edition is a plus!

The biggest gripe for this game is the price as compared to how much content you get. But as far the games themselves in the disc, they are exceptional. A must have for a KH freak.

Many many memories of the characters and just mesmerizing when it comes to game play and crisp story telling and the graphics :) can't wait for 1.5 and 2.5 for PS4 and kingdom hearts 3

Great story line like all of the Kingdom Hearts games. Nice seeing these games on PS4 now instead of only on the Nintendo 3DS. Graphics improved on the PS4. Highly recommended.

I am a big fan of all Kingdom Hearts. I own all but one you can't go wrong mixing Disney with Final Fantasy. Wish it could go on forever great graphics storyline everything.

Although short, 0.2 was a great story set up for KHIII and gave you a nice feel for the combat to come as well. It was a lot of fun to revisit 3D in 60fps as well.

This game has awesome story line and great graphics. There are 2 new games in this bundle and a re-release of the Dream Drop Distance game from Nintendo 3DS.

This is by far one of the best collection to have for the KH series. Very addicting and intriguing of story and combat makes it a definite must pickup
