average performance it's just that it doesn't come with a cover to protect the connecting part.

I bought this because of the reviews i read about its performance. I have read in the websites that SE9 writing speeds are upto 15MB/Sec, or at least above 10 MB/sec. but I am getting speeds no higher than my old model kingston flash drive and are only around 3MB/sec. The files that i tested are not small multiple but 1gb video files in a laptop with i5 processor. No speed improvement even when connected to a usb 3.0 port. I don't understand this problem and i really disappointed with this one. May be I received the defective one

I was looking all over for a usb drive that would allow me to connect two devices side by side on my macbook. The ports on the macbook do not have much space in between each other. My old usb drive was very wide and would not fit if I also had a wireless mouse usb attached. This Kingston USB was perfect. I also love the design and color. It looks like it was made for my macbook. I can't say much about speed and performance. All I care about a usb is that it is large enough to hold my files and won't lose my files as I have had happened with some usb brands.

Best buy is great for electronic needs and I'd highly recommend them. This is the first time ever that I've not gotten my delivery.

I have already bought 4 of these and am planning on buying two more one for my best friend and one for my family. Let me tell you why, I saw these on daily deals and I'm sorry for an all metal chassis and low profile design for under 15, that is a steal! Plastic thumb drive break, whether you drop your laptop, or step on the thumb drive it self. Try doing that with this one. Your laptop will break before this thumb drive does. TRUE STORY: I washed one of these, I freaked out because it was the back up for one of my pc's that crashed, I put it out in the hot sun, in an hour I tried it, thinking all of the memory is gone. To my amazement, it worked. Why? Great design, tough, reliable. Get this, it has a great keychain feature that everyone of my friends always points out. Want something functional and reliable yet looks really cool? This is it; reminds me of a state of the art chip. Buy one. Great for students!
